My 5070 come with this anti sag dildo. Look ugly and out of place but they include it means I should use it? How big is the problem with gpu sag anyway I never had problem but then I only used dual fans gpu before. That makes a bit more sense, the 5070 cooler might just be small enough for it to not matter. I don't know anyone with one of the larger coolers who didn't just setup a support, but I can imagine the pcb being anything other than flat will lead to issues with enough heat cycles.

I will try different configurations of the ram. Like I said it starts with 1, 2 and 3 sticks of ram in but I didnt try various combinations to see if it's always the same stick of ram that makes it stop. I dont really want to buy a new cpu and I dont exactly need 64 go of ram but not sure how I would be able to tell how stable it is. If I do have to get a new cpu as well then it would probably be better to return the mobo and get a lga 1851 cpu/mobo i assume

It does seem like the stick, if i take out one of the good 3 and replace it with this bad stick it still doesnt turn on. With the bad stick in i didnt notice that any of these lights even flashed on. With that one stick out the CPU flashed red momentarily and the DRAM light was orange for some of the startup and when on no lights are on, which seems like normal behavior to me

I think it depends on your mobo, but on my MSI it's called Memory Context Restore. It will remember the trained timings and just stick with that each startup. You can also select the time interval for it to recheck and rerun the analysis. Should be under OC/DRAM settings

making a small judgement error, being a bit too impatient, dropping shit, scraping things with a screwdriver can destroy hundreds of dollars in a second

you can minimize the risks by watching a video of someone building a pc. Understanding the basics, taking the time to read the mobo/case manuals for instructions. Having good environment to build with soft surfaces, good light, right tools.

The parts most likely to be fucked are am4 cpu pins, or you smear thermal paste on active areas. The mobo as it has large attack area and individual components. Gpu, ram and ssd can be fucked if you insert them incorrectly using force. Dont use 3rd party psu cables. The cpu cooler is heavy and maybe you let the case drop and it rips the mobo apart.

And now, it appears that the 52-core top SKU will ship with speeds that may exceed 5.0 GHz. An early engineering sample confirms the appearance of test hardware in partner shipments, which means that Intel is already moving validation pieces to OEMs and cooling vendors so they can start tuning systems well ahead of qualification samples and mass production. The 52-core part is a tiled design that pairs two compute tiles with a single SoC tile. Each compute tile houses eight P-Cores based on Coyote Cove and 16 efficient E-Cores based on Arctic Wolf, while the SoC tile contributes four low-power Arctic Wolf LPE-cores. That gives Nova Lake-S a 16 P-Core, 32 E-Core, and 4 LPE-Core configuration totaling 52 cores for the top SKU, with single-tile variants offering a 28-core option.

Intel will also offer big-cache bLLC variants aimed at workloads that benefit from larger on-die caches. On the platform side, Nova Lake-S will use the LGA-1954 socket with a 45x37.5 mm footprint, which matches LGA-1851 sizing and should preserve broad cooler compatibility even if some vendors need offset plates or other tweaks for optimal contact. The P-cores will ship without SMT, following the same choice made for Arrow Lake, while Intel's cache-first bLLC approach looks intended to counter AMD's stacked 3D V-Cache strategy.
