I'm selling my PC to a friend, he's going to put his own NVME and Windows installation. I'm keeping my drive, but is there anything I need to do on my PC beforehand, like de-linking my Windows installation from the BIOS? Or can I just remove my NVME, he puts his with the boot key and the BIOS just accepts the new drive?

if you bought an "OEM" license to windows there's no removing it.

i think my phone is overvolted or something because when i try to plug it to my PC the PC shuts down

one time a while back the charging port got a bit wet and ever since i have to keep it on at all times because if it runs out of battery it will be very hard to charge it due to the "wet charging port" warning

and another time a while back i was trying to figure out how to give a stereo an AUX port with my phone and i accidentally used the wrong cables and my phone started overheating from excess voltage until i realized it

so how do i ground my phone and get it to connect to my PC again? i want to clean up the photos and videos i have

Why the fuck can't we have an OLED TV that does full brightness at a 100% window? Most of them can do 1000nits in a small window, but if the pixels can do that brightness how come they can't do it across the whole screen at the same time? Is there a technical reason or is it just manufacturers being Jewish so they can artificially increase brightness by 50 nits each generation to keep the goyim on the upgrade treadmill?

I have this weird situation with my two switches. I have one connected to my router and the other connected to the first one. But after some time the speeds on the second one fall through the floor and a simple restart fixes it. What could be causing this? Running wireshark or whatever captures gigabites of data in a couple of minutes but i don't know what is normal. Most of it is the switches probing around it seems but at least one of them has some anti loop feature so idk.
>>
>>106510214
The phone is obviously unwise to connect to a PC ever again but that doesn't mean ya can't get your files off then continue using it as a phone. I would copy filed to a USB fob plugged into the phone to prevent damage to your computer.

You can transfer files off your phone anywhere by storing them online.

You can download wifi FTP server apps (I used WiFi FTP server which is user-friendly) to quickly transfer files to another device . You can save apks using an apk extractor app. Do keep more than one backup copy of anything important.

Your phone need never be connected to anything but its charger. If like you can use your phone as a mobile FTP server. I haven't tried running scrcpy and an FTP server at the same time but if they work you could cast your phone to view and control it from your PC.

Everyone breaks stuff learning and that experience has value. Next time don't hardware mod anything you haven't already backed up. Hardware mod tests are for throwaway hardware, not anything that has important content.
>>
>>106510214
>"wet charging port" warning
Your charging port has some shorted pins. Get it replaced, you risk destroying your computer's USB port.

Probably a broadcast storm. You may have a loop in your network, or one of the switches is misconfigured – reset both to factory settings and see what happens.
>>
>>106510637
>You may have a loop in your network
They are just daisy chained together but there are no physical loops.
>or one of the switches is misconfigured – reset both to factory settings
They are these cheap plug and play thingies. One of them has a switch for STP and the other none at all. I didn't know why the loop prevention was even enabled but now its off.

Also the amount of slowdown and how often it occurs is random. Sometimes it goes down to 10mbps but is mostly stable. Last time it went to 500mbps but dropped packets and caused issues. Hopefully with the SPT disabled there is nothing to clog up the network anymore.

You can do a whole lot when you abandon your own learned helplessness. A lot of things are actually not even that hard and fall into place when you just bother to try, so if you are someone who, like I've been, limits yourself based on pre-conceived notions and allows the seeming dautingness of a task to stop you from doing it, stop. Just continue forth and if it interests you then you have all you need to do it. If you are like me, then you've stopped yourself from doing things that actually aren't even HARD, just unfamiliar.

Just soemthing to consider. But remember, Mathew 16:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God"

Correct, with one addition: watching content is not required –merely recording a TV broadcast falls under the TV license.
Whether that broadcast is over the air or the internet is immaterial, as is the originating country.
So if you watch a TV channel from Botswana on some IPTV website on your tablet you still need a TV license, despite not doing so on a TV and it having nothing to do with bri'ish television.

Could someone please explain this? I want to set up a dual-boot with Linux and Windows on the same drive, but with two separate ESPs for the bootloaders. I tried it in a VirtualBox VM; GRUB detected Windows just fine and everything worked, but I’m not sure how it will behave on real hardware. Is it okay to have two ESPs on one disk without problems? I know that when configuring a dual-boot, the bootloaders are usually installed in a single ESP, but I’ve heard this can overwrite the Linux bootloader during Windows updates or cause other problems. Having a separate ESP would also make it easier to remove one of the OS later.

>Linux and Windows on the same drive, but with two separate ESPs for the bootloaders.
The ESP is one per computer. Not one per disk, not one per OS.
Every OS places EFI executables on the ESP, and the EFI firmware executes one or more of those during boot.

Get off Windows. Majority of malware is manufactured for Windows, moving to Linux reduces your attack surface to virtually nothing.
Use UBlock Origin and browse PirateBay, comfy.
Git gud and don't click anything retarded. Remember, all you want is that juicy gud gud magnet link baby.
Lastly, if you just want to watch anime, see into ani-cli. Boom, everything's suddenly at your fingertips you delicious femboy you.

I want to create my own manga series that looks drawn using a mix of posing already made 3d models and newly generated stuff. I can do the typesetting myself, so I just need the art to make the panels myself. I can't draw for shit, and I can't 3d model from scratch for shit, but I can jury-rig assets to create models pretty well, so I can provide tons of needed character reference material and can do poses and such to help the AI make a sensible image. Estimated problems would be backgrounds and such, but I might be able to figure that out later. What should I be looking into? I used to run a local version of stable diffusion like a year ago and dipped my toes mostly unsuccessfully into LORAs. I ran into a lot of problems of consistence across images, especially where things like shirt patters, consistent crystal geometry and other such things were concerned. Any advice? If you trust Tails OS enough to use it, you should trust the default programs it comes with.
