how do I test capacity of these 1,5v li-on AA/AAA batteries ?
>>106531287I've used this for my whole life, and not about to change anything to not trigger your melties, snowflake.
>>106531331You use a capacity tester. https://a.aliexpress.com/_EuLYZtC
>>106531331You empty it out, then attach a voltmeter inbetween the charger and the battery. As (energy = voltage * current) you just measure those two and integrate over time. Sadly both current and voltage (to a lesser extent) fluctuate a bit over the charging process. Hence >>106531348 as those do basically that, measure the power and then add it up over time. The only reasonable way that doesn't require special equipment I can think of is charging the battery to full, then applying a constant power load (CPL). Something like a step-down module and then a resistor at its output or something. Then you can know it'll have a constant voltage at the output -> attach a resistor as a load and a LED in series, then calculate power draw of this circuit and measure the time until the LED turns off. That gives you the total energy expended without power losses from the step-down module.
something to get rid of HDCP 2.2??
>>106531348>$30yikes.>>106531422>You empty it out, then attach a voltmeter inbetween the charger and the battery.does it work? These batteries have circuit that output constant 1.5v at all timeI think you fully charge, then use something to discharge and monitor voltage+ current until it reaches 0. But probably unreliable
>>106531505>yikesBuild your own. Cheap USB tester, they usually have a capacity measuring function; any USB cable, battery holder and a load resistor.

Good-but-cheap babby's first multimeter? I wanna measure battery internal resistances.<- *sexywoman.jpg*
>>106531649This thing only measures voltage, nothing to do with a request. >>106531678Anything that catches your fancy from Aneng. If you want to go dirt cheap, get a DT830. But I would get something with a decent size screen, a kickstand and a continuity beep -- all you need as a small time hobbyist.

>>106530574>>106530694> membership levelI'm purple v7. but what does this all mean?
I quite enjoy chink/jap landscape paintings (mountains, rivers, few buildings, few or no people, vegetation). Does anyone have any store recommendations?
I like reading product reviews when I'm bored at work.
Any guide on maximizing coins/offers/etc on AliExpress?
>>106531505>These batteries have circuit that output constant 1.5v at all timeIf it's truly constant through a BMS, then you can just attach a resistor and a LED in series, measure the current, calculate the power draw from that (or calculating it from voltage, resistor and LED power draw) and then measure time until the LED turns off. Make sure the resistor is large enough that it doesn't get (too) hot. >I think you fully charge, then use something to discharge and monitor voltage+ current until it reaches 0. But probably unreliableAgain, power is just voltage times current over time. As long as those measurements are correct, the result is correct. The pain in the ass is knowing when it's fully discharged, which you need the LED for. Or use a simple arduino nano, those can measure both and a sketch that takes measurements in an interval and adds the values up is trivial. Plus it will have a auto-shutoff function then.
>>106531902Basically you get points for being a good boy, engaging with the platform and, most importantly, spending money. You lose points for many disputes, being a bad boy, or shit like that. They also decay over time. The higher the tier of goodboy points you reached, the more lenient support will be, the easier disputes go through, and you may be first in line for some coupons and shit. There were also storewide flat discounts you could get in the past for some tiers, but I think those are gone now.TL;DR: Ali rewards you for being a good customer and punishes you for being a bad one. Chinese social credit ftw.>>106532474The people spamming the same word or sentence to get to max coin rewards, or adding images that aren't of the item as reviews should get demoted in the internal rating and fucked over. It lowers the quality of the reviews.
I bought one of those display cable converters (DP to DVI) and it only supports 640x480 it doesn't even display the model to the OS. Did I get scammed? I bought it as a replacement for a DP to VGA converter which supports up to 1600x1200 and I get monitor metadata as well through that.

>>106531678>>106336630>multimeter(From previous threads, you could use search you know)Happy with my Habotest HT118A, it's been upgraded since then to HT118E and it's also sold under the Kaiweets brand (same thing), I really like it because it temporarily blinks the female banana plugs used when you switch modes so you don't have to think about where you should plug your probes.

Anyone bought a cheap robovac? If yes: worth it, or better to spend the cash on a more expensive well-established brand?
>>106533240Define cheap. I got a used Tesvor S6, which is a bit old now, at the time it was ~180€ new and I paid ~70€ used.Definitely 100% worth it, robo vacuums are a lifesafer, I'm never going back. If this one breaks I'm buying a new one the same day. Xiaomi has the X20 Pro for example. If you don't care too much about it doing vacuuming and mopping you can get by fairly cheaply (the mop ability on cheap ones sucks ass). Whatever you do, it needs LIDAR or it'll be utterly shit.
>>106531649>volt tester for batteries why tf is it a thing? Just buy volt meter
>>106532592You better be thankful I typed this shit up. That's my last understanding of the boni, it's not everything, but the important shit at least.>>106533357These are for normies and while they measure voltage, they display on the dial/screen "battery capacity" instead, which is good as normies don't know at what voltage a AA battery is considered "empty". My grandma won't measure voltage with a voltmeter and then learn at what voltage a battery is empty, but she will press a battery into one of these and read the results.
Anyone have any nice washi tape from Ali they'd recommend? I need to decorate a few small containers so I can tell them apart easily.
>>106533240i still use my dumb robovac from 8 years ago i bought from JD for $130. i just bought new sweepers for $4 and put in a new 2600mah battery for $3.50 and now it's as good as new
/csg/ I come to you in my time of need, for I am retarded with this shit. I'm looking for a USB 3.0 PCIe card with individual controllers on each port for my VR set up. Is it worth trusting Chang with drivers?

>>106533529I have six rolls of fluorescent "gaffer tape", it's bright, it sticks, it's cloth, I often use it to mark something and it works great for that. No idea what washi tape is, so maybe this will help. One I bought isn't available anymore, but you can easily find it by picture or "fluorescent gaffer tape" search.
>>106533705That's a lot of threads...
>>106533705>not unlockedtruly e-wasteslightly jelly
>>106533839It's basically just masking tape with a nice pattern or design on it. People use it for crafts usually, like adding borders to homemade cards. I would like to use them so I can tell all my different tea, coffee, hot chocolate powder canisters apart without opening them. Those you linked would not pass the wife test, but I will keep the gaffer tape keyword in mind. Thanks.
>>106533984Have you considered a label printer? I have a lot of unmarked teas myself, and it's truly a blessing. Although I can see the advantage of a decorated tape with nice (if you have nice) handwriting. Before gaffer tape and label printer I just used a painter's tape, and with my horrible handwriting and a cheap shit pen it looked truly like art.
every 6 months I feel like locking myself up in a chastity cage and panties from AliExpress, so I'll purchase a bunch of lingerie and wigs, vibrate my cage with a vibrator until I cum, wrap my waist with plastic wrap and sleep caged, wake up with tingling balls, think "what this fuck am I doing this for?", pack it all up and take out the trash at 3am, go back to bed, and wake up thinking it was just a degenerate dream.
