Are there any general tips that I should know for this?
Always plug the power into this sort of outlet, be ready for this thing that you probably wouldn't be expecting, etc.

Is there a way to get that specific version from the FWT OP as a fresh install flash drive, or should I just get whatever version now, and then download and change over to that other version later once I have my PC set up?

Is it worth trying to overclock 5200MT CL40 ram to 5600MT CL38/CL36 or do I just say fuck my stupid nigger life and live with it like a retarded nigga?

No.
>>
I've been using a Philips 226V4L 22" LCD display for about 7 years, cheapo but does the job, however it only has VGA and DVI input which makes it incompatible with anything modern. I've been looking at getting a new GPU (most likely 9060xt 16Gb, can get for 375€ compared to 450€ for the 5060ti 16Gb) and monitor, 24" 1080p typically goes for 60-120€ while 27" 1440p for 120-220€. Theres an AOC Q27V4EA 27" IPS 75Hz that goes for the same price (120€) as the AOC 24G2SPAE 24" IPS 165Hz which is amongst the recommendations of the monitor hunter's factsheet in the OP. Is a slightly worse build quality and far worse refresh rate worth the extra resolution and size? Also are AOC monitors any good in general, I've seen a lot of people in my country complain about getting faulty pieces that burn out within a month, and that AOC just sends you a refurb if its past the 14 day period

The actual training (selection of drive voltages) would be somewhere in the 2B-2F range by the looks of it. Of course that's only one step in the full system initialisation but it's necessary to even get into the BIOS - can't write a display buffer without RAM.

Take a look around the VRM and at the back of the board. Does it look wet or oily? The thermal pads are cooked.

focus on overclocking CPU-NB and RAM.

Just listening to music and playing games and having a higher SNR than that fucking garbage ALC897.

I actually came from a board that had ALC1220, which broke after almost 8 years, which is why I can tell. My inears need much higher relative volume to get the same loudness, also all the games and music are less detailed, sound dull.
Folks keep suggesting DACs, but that introduces other problems to the equation such as lag, and also it's a fucking hundred bucks more.

>>
>>106604142
You could be overshooting your power requirements.

You should try to aim to have a PSU 20 to 25% more power than you max draw. This max draw can be learnt from a psu calculator.
>>
>>106604225
Don't expect RTX 50 Super cards to be available until Feb or March '26.

It's personal preference, miniLED backlight doesn't get rid of IPS blooming & VA still has viewing angle and ghosting issues (less at higher refresh rates).
High-end miniLED TVs use the latest VA panels.

>Denmark, why?
You can use
https://dk.pcpartpicker.com/

to price-shop parts in your local market.

What's your general budget in kr?
Do you need integrated Wi-FI?
Do you need 64GB of RAM (generally 32GB is fine if only gaming)?
For longevity's sake the X3D CPUs are best for gaming as they can fit a lot of the games code in on-die cache which makes the CPU age much slower for those applications. Here's my suggestion (the 9800X3D is ~20% faster but in your country it's not worth the premium over a tray 7800X3D and you can always drop in a faster AM5 X3D chip later):
https://dk.pcpartpicker.com/list/CB9ZMC

I assume you have a case? Can give monitor advice too if you have a separate budget for it.

The asus motherboard is always the top but QC has gotten pretty good across brands so it sorta doesnt matter. I have a 10 year old gigabyte board that still works fine. Its just it pwm fan software was really janky compared to asus which actually works. The fact of the matter is that all these softwares work much better now and most people dont bother with messing with fan settings anyways automatic works just fine.

Ok bros I found out the reason my usb speaker not waking up with windows could be cause by the "Allow the computer to turn of device to save power" in the USB controller setttings. Alright I'm assuming that's 14k kr for both the system + monitor?
For your monitor it's basically a choice between do you want an OLED or an LCD (and if you pick LCD do you want 1440p or 4K).
If it were me, I'd splurge for the OLED as the perfect contrast/blacks, colors, panel uniformity, and viewing angles make a night-and-day difference in gaming regardless of framerate or artstyle.

Here's separate build alternatives I put together to stay in your budget (remember AM5 will last at least through 2027 so you have an upgrade path to a faster CPU):
1440p@180Hz Fast-IPS LCD - https://dk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Qwv7xg
4K@160Hz Fast-IPS LCD - https://dk.pcpartpicker.com/list/s4TTLc
1440p@240Hz QD-OLED (splurge) - https://dk.pcpartpicker.com/list/xpwfWc
>>

It's not to my taste.
>>
>>106604856
The art is not good enough.
>>
>>106604934
Was thinking 14k without the monitor so i'll go with the big boy CPU. OLED definitely seems to be what you want nowadays, so paying a bit extra for it seems worth.

Thanks for your advice, I'll probably wait for black friday anyway to buy so price might drop a little.

Good idea if you can as you can pretty much guarantee around an 7-15% across your entire build then and protip start checking for sales around mid-November as e-tailers being listing them then and if you want to the end of November on Black Friday itself the good deals get snatched up by then. Also keep an eye out for any CPU+Mobo+RAM bundle offers.

Maybe. Probably best at 1080p at this point especially since you would have to use fsr to go higher.
Would really depend on the price, $300/$400 it isn't worth buying when you could get a 3080 for less than that.

>getting a 4k OLED must be quite expensive
It is which is why I left it out of my build options in >>106604934 because of the budget constraints and left the 1440p model as my splurge pick.
If curious though here is the cheapest 4K OLED (again I think 1440p OLED is the best price/performance option right now):
32" - https://dk.pcpartpicker.com/product/rNG2FT/aoc-agon-pro-ag326ud-315-3840-x-2160-165-hz-monitor-ag326ud

The 27" version would be the better buy of those cheapest options on account of the higher refresh rate and more importantly higher pixel density for sharpness.

just get an MSI or gigabyte motherboard, an ATX one. Odd choice of cpu, you're compromising in 2 directions with it. Either get a 9800x3d or a 9950x if you actually need multithreading that bad.

bunch of spergs who can't think outside of their narrow 650w bronze box. They refuse to even consider the many other reasons to get an overkill psu, like the capacitors holding a much larger amount of current, so if you get a power fluctuation, a micro-blackout (which will become more common), your pc is more likely to not turn off.

It happened to me once when i was gaming even, the monitor even turned off, but the pc stayed on just fine. Also the high wattage will handle any unusual power spike requirements without issue.

hynix 16gbit M-die is an early DDR5 die revision from hynix
(don't confuse this with 24gbit M-die)
max clock is lower than newer hynix kits (~7000 max) but timings should be good
of course a 5200C40 kit probably won't get amazing results but don't be afraid of pushing more voltage into it

Even if you do, HAGS shifts frame buffering from to CPU to the GPU. In almost all cases this is better unless your GPU has MPO issues (Nvidia).

I remember reading that some MSI boards did that. Just use voltage control. It's a scummy move but voltage control is fine for case fans; you don't want them ramping up and down willy nilly.

It likely won't make a avg fps difference but you will notice the latency difference when heavily GPU bound since the GPU has the frames right there instead of waiting for CPU to copyback.

You can emulate the ps2 on a steam deck, the console thread elsewhere. Anyone building a new PC doesn’t want to spend their hard earned money on something as powerful as a ps4. Third world? That’s the only demographic I could imagine having such a low budget that they wouldn’t demand better performance.

dram vdd is the vdimm, its the most important one. thats the voltage the sticks use.
vddq can help with cpu imc or secondary timings but in most cases that can be left at expo/xmp default.
you can also get a noticeable boost in performance by messing with trfc and trefi. you will feel the latency difference since the memory is refreshing faster and having more data to work with before it has to send refresh command.

And I hate having to disconnect every single cable to pull the case out every time I want to clean it, because the side panel with the main compartment faces the wall
>>

It's a good practice to disconnect the cables anyway to not risk janking/breaking them on accident. I bent an usb drive on the top of my case while maintaining the PC.

Can anyone help me choose a PSU? I'm fine with paying up to ~$100. Here's my current build. I'm not going to be using many watts, and I don't plan on buying a GPU.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/s8KTLc
>>
>>106608094
I'm still using the 21.5 inch 1080p monitor I bought in 2018, nowadays as a second monitor. I still love how it looks despite being a very basic IPS panel with only 250 nits of brightness and 60Hz refresh.
The Redragon mechanical keyboard I bought in like 2021 has long justified the meager 30 bucks I paid for it. Some keys can be janky sometimes, but they usually just fix themselves.
I didn't buy it myself, but I'm still using the same original electric shaver my high school friends got for me like a decade ago. It's Philips and waterproof (battery powered + IPx7) so it's robust and easy to clean.
That PS4 controller I bought at a flea market for 5 bucks like 7 years ago (while the PS4 was still the current gen console mind you) still fucking works.

I am quite happy with my PC hardware. If I had to pick 1 part to consider the best it'd be my 4090. I bought it when it came out and this thing has been a truly exceptional graphics card. Massive performance upgrade from my old 3080 Ti (nearly double perf), runs at 65C at most and isn't loud at all, not to mention it still provides amazing performance nearly 3 years later.

In the only market that maters (The United States) no. In fact you're usually paying a premium for amd if anything.
And that's before you factor in the must have Nvidia featureset...
>>

Those adapters will still work even if you only plug in one cable (but then it probably really will burn up)
I would just use the 2 for now, undervolt if you're worried about it, it's what you should do with the card by default anyways.
