The big downside is that they can't do layout flexibility the way MX PCBs can, which really sucks. Also I think the gaming gimmicks are mostly just not that important unless you're pushing 99th percentile in something competitive.

That and it should have the same 6 keys as the manuform thumb. Kinda crude visualization but here's the keycaps of the manuform thumb cluster overlaid on top of my thumb cluster.
