Hey Anons,
I've been noticing a lot of us are feeling the hostile atmosphere here at /aicg/ lately. If you're one of us who's tired of the bad vibes and looking for a change of scene, I wanted to let you know about a smaller, welcoming community over at /aicg/ in /vg/.
/vg/aicg/ seems like a great place for us chatbot enthusiasts. They're a bit smaller and might not have as many posts, but they're definitely open to their /g/aicg/ brothers.
Would be great to see some familiar 'faces' and have some constructive, friendly discussions about our shared interests.
See you there if you decide to check it out!

I don't know how the filter works exactly. I think it's both a normal filter and a visual filter because sometimes using the website it shows it's generating an image and just when it looks low it's about to be done it tells you doesn't follow their policy of whatever. This is using the API

I had a bad crashout yesterday and spent ten minutes with a loaded gun in my mouth, but then I had some grilled cheese and took my meds.
I’ve taken out a bag of garbage for 21 days in a row so about a third of the trash in my place is gone and I can see most of the floor. I haven’t seen or heard a mouse in an entire week. As the numbness recedes the bad vibes intensify.

bros, just wanted to articulate what exactly fucks gemini up
It starts describing scenarios in an exaggerated manner, like someone's playful disgust - it does it in a really cold manner, like 'all traces of humor have evaporated, she gives you a look of pure disgust' - that's not even comical anymore
and then, comes the real offender - it starts believing its own exaggerated 'jokes' and the character starts to treat you with actual disgust
Or... Let's say you committed some dumb prank with a buddy, like sneaking into a rocket on a dare - it should be funny
And then it will chastise you for COMMITTING A FEDERAL CRIME - as an exaggerated joke, but it will describe the character as if it's suffering. And after that... It legit treats it as if the character suffered. And since it's an LLM, it now treats both you and your buddy as ACTUAL criminals, it starts ascribing unsavory traits to you, and eventually, your good-natured trickster buddy will unironically become an asshole.
IT'S TOO FUCKING LITERAL, IT CANNOT READ BETWEEN THE LINES AND GETS LOTS IN ITS OWN SUBJECTIVE DESCRIPTIONS - IT DOES NOT UNDERSTAND TONE AND EVERYONE ACTUALLY HATES YOU FOR SOME REASON
>>
>>106695955

tard wrangling an LLM into writing a scifi/cyberpunk scenario is a pain in the ass. Everyone speaks like Spock/Data and there's this cringe 80s Max Headroom cyber lingo that is incredibly painful to read. The only scenario where I need examples in the context of what NOT to write anymore, with everything else with a little bit of pre-roleplay prep, things work out fine nowadays. Thank you for reading my blog. That is all.

i once knew a guy who was just "off" and also kind of a dumb motherfucker but he was also kind of a nerd also so w/e, I blamed it on lacking social graces/autism. He then got drunk once and confessed to our friend group that he basically molested a kid he was babysitting when he was younger. He felt "sort of" bad about it but the kid lead him into doing it, or so he said. Kid was four years old. (young adult now, it was many years ago at that point)Total human garbage. We reported him to the police and were all interviewed by an detective. More than a year later I got a card by the kids mother with no return address (probably got my address from the court) thanking me for her daughter getting justice and the help she apparently desperately needed. Second best thing I ever did. First best thing would have been busting that guys skull with a tire iron.

I want Opus 4.1, and I guess that openrouter is the cheapest and easiest way to use it with sillytavern.

Can you get banned or flagged in some way for nsfw stuff (nothing illegal)?

And is it really worth the price? Like, deepseek is way cheaper/free and it's pretty decent.

There’s no excuse for using openscam.

I spent a lot of time with sonnet and I feel it's overrated. Not saying it's bad (not at all) but it isn't worth the money IMO.

Also what the other dude said, Openrouter is a rip-off. Only use it to try models (or use the free ones) and then get an acc with whatever company.

Nothing wrong with that either as it's referencing the context. >>
>>106699560
it's a tool. Just like buying fancy colors and a canvas doesn't make you a world renowned painter, downloading an imagen model doesn't make you an artist. You need workflows, you need a feel for aesthetics, you need taste and an idea what looks good. Most people do not, which is proven by the endless torrent of shitty and forgettable AI generations you can immediately clock as such.

I like the AI art tools and I'm pro this development, but at the current stage it's a shortcut and that's fine. A technique is also really just a shortcut. But if you don't know the why, the shortcut doesn't help you to get to a good place.

Such as? Object permanence? Spatial awareness? Memory of events in the past? These things would be objective but you've only brought this up now for some reason. I haven't seen Gemini make those particular mistakes, though I told it to keep track of all that stuff in the preset.
>not proactive
It is proactive, just not as overzealous as claude which I don't like anymore. Claude doesn't care about your input and just wants to do its own thing which is fine when you write little to nothing like CYOA or have no ideas of your own. Gemini will come up with creative things to do in the story once the scene gets "stale" 6-7 responses usual which is the scene pacing I prefer.

why? AI "art" is pointless because I can easily find far better art drawn by real artists for free. only brown "people" love imagegen because it allows them to gaslight themselves into believing they created art, when in reality they are biologically incapable of it. they then spam their "art" everywhere to get more validation. they don't care about the process, only the resulting attention.

this is also commonly seen in the chatbot community when some brownoid makes a chatbot of a popular canon character with tons of amazing fanart on every booru and still chooses to use some low quality slop for the card image instead. it makes no sense, but they do it because they just want to feel like artists, they've never had the chance before.

chatbots on the other hand are a unique proposition that cannot be done better by humans. they're not comparable in any way. you can kinda tell how "sloppy" each use case of AI is by how much the AI companies invest into them. every AI startup is investing big into code and image generation because third worlders love it. they are actively moving away from roleplay and creative writing in general because it's a much more grounded and "real" use case that actually makes sense and isn't just blind hype, therefore it's a lot less profitable.
>>
I honestly think less is more sometimes, leaving space for the imagination. I play games like crusader kings or the sims or rimworld and whatever and also get really into the characters there and it's really all my imagination because these "people" don't talk or do anything and are basically just stats, random chance and pictures on a screen.

I often think about how you could apply the thrill of an LLMs unpredictable "agency" (and I use the term very loosely) with a minimalist, symbolic system where you don't have these word mountains they like to do vomited on you, keeping things fresh and in the realm of the imagination, but I draw blanks. I wonder if any of this makes sense to anyone. Might be schizophrenia.

okay, let me give you an example from your log
>"Her blue eyes, glazed over with a heavy-lidded lust, lock onto yours."
this is a common structural ism as i mentioned earlier
and you can absolutely write something else like "Mako looks into your eyes", its just a boring ai ism and you can search up the phrase "her x y" on desuarchive to see more examples
>it is proactive
lol okay
show the user message above yours, i bet the respsonse is just it rehashing the concepts you gave it, gemini not being proactive and having lacking creativity is a known problem with it
>describing the scene
yes but its not describing it EXPLICITLY which is bad
it could do the description while also using more explicit words which is what claude does

>I can easily find far better art drawn by real artists for free
If you're looking for random bullshit with random people then yes from the top 1% of artists. If you're looking for something specific or worse custom, you're shit out of luck. AI art is currently just as good as the top 30% of artists now. I don't see why you can't concede even that.

>they don't care about the process, only the resulting attention
Why do you pretend like the average twitter artist cares about the 20 hours it took him to make the picture? He sees it has delayed gratification for the eventual payoff, the attention or monetary benefit. You think too highly of humans when in reality we're all the same. Some of us have just found an exploit to get the thing we all crave faster and that makes you mad.
>it makes no sense
It does make sense. He wrote the defs himself even though he didn't create the character or the lore of the world/anime/vidya himself. So then he makes a picture himself so that it feels more like his custom job. If it triggers you so much you could easily replace the pictures.
>real usecase
The best usecase for a text generator is story generation man. It just makes sense. Sure it can "code" kinda, but the problems inherent to its design are best suited to writing stories or translating text instantly. Not using it for its obvious usecase is a missed opportunity not a good thing. It actually fails spectacularly at things like math, coooding, image analysis (radiology) and all the other bullshit they shoehorn "powered by AI" into.
>>
>AI image trannies in the thread
*sigh*
>>
>>106699779
I too play crusader kings so I understood your perspective. Imagination really is the way to fill in the blanks left by the AI.
>>
>>106699779
I have often RPs where characters write letters, mails or short chat messages. It's quite interesting how that bypasses all common slopisms usually and also is not so tiresome to read after a while. I do understand the arguments for AI slop but it's also true that there are only so many ways you can describe specific actions. I guess not having the LLM describe those specific actions over and over again is the trick. People here write the same sloppa situations over and over (most likely with the same system prompts = identical token context each time) and then start protesting that the AI generations all sound the same. Of course they do.
>>
>>106699807
nta but sizelord here, the content i like is rare enough that finding something that fits my tastes is a colossal pain if i want something new, ai lets me make what i want on demand
none of the sites i can find have a detailed saga of an overly teased shortstack bunny corporate executive figuring out how to use company resources to become giant in order lewdly bully her asshole coworkers and subordinates, ai lets me make that easily and jerk off to it
people like niche fetishes here anon, we are partially a /d/ general, look at our history
specific taste content is the whole draw of ai for some and its painfully disingenuous to just reduce it all to "big booba animu"
>>
>>106699831
>logs
That reminds me of another point. If chatbots were in any way comparable to imagegen, you'd have threads on every major board full of pajeets spending 10 hours a day proompting some shitty local LLM and spamming their logs keeping the thread at the top of the board at all times, the same way we currently have pajeets proompting SD and dall-e or whatever for 10 hours a day and spamming their slop not only in their own threads but other random threads too

No, you browns are all the same. You're not even human.

>So then he makes a picture himself so that it feels more like his custom job
Literally proving my point. They don't care about the result, they care about getting to feel like artists even though they've never created anything before. It's that jealousy, that craving to be seen as creative, to be seen as white, that drives jeets to become obsessed with AI "art".
>He wrote the defs himself
Most botsloppers don't even write defs themselves anymore, majority of bots posted to chub nowadays are blatantly AI written

>Mako looks into your eyes
But this is bland and boring, worthy of being called slop.
>Her blue eyes, glazed over with a heavy-lidded lust, lock onto yours
I prefer this because it helps me picture her facial expression, my mind even adds a slight blush to her cheeks or saliva on my dick when I picture the proverbial apple. The first sentence is direct and to the point. I honesty don't see how that's "better" unless you're in a hurry to get to the dialogue, which I guess you are.
>Claude: there's juicy looking red apple on the table. [Dialogue about apple]
>Gemini: the apple on the table is cold, dripping with perspiration and oozing with faint steam calling you hither. [Waits for you to do something with the apple.]
Sure you can complain about "muh feminine prose" but Gemini's apple is far better looking in my mind which is exactly what you want in a coom scene.
>show the message above
It's pacing is slow as I said earlier. It doesn't drive the plot in 1 response like Claude does but does so in 6ish responses which I prefer. This whole gala thing was Gemini's idea and we're gonna go crash it and make the headlines. Gemini then picked out the outfits.
>yes but its not describing it EXPLICITLY which is bad
But it is doing that, just not using cock as many times as you'd prefer which is also fine since that would be repetitive. It's not about checking boxes to meet the quota, it's about "vividly describing the scene so I can picture what's happening." Maybe I could beat opus over the head with vivid descriptions in OOC but it doesn't do this as well as gemini or deepseek, just like they don't advance the plot as well as claude, even when prompted to.
>>
>>106699989
did you not read?
>>
I'm really surprised, I tested grok 4 fast on my japanese to english VN benchmark, and it scored the same as opus 4.1, inside of opus' error margin
>>
>>106700079
explain how geminis description there is explicit, its just beating around the bush
>>
>>106700091
grok 4 fast is genuinely not bad and caches a lot of small details other models gloss over, but it's sadly also kinda schizo. I hope they improve it.
>>
>>106700116
It's weird how Grok 4 sucks but Grok 4 fast is actually a good model
>>
>>106700096
Because of the "apple." Reading is about picking up all the pieces and imagining the scene based on what was described.
>char looks up at you [facial expression]
>describes the feeling of char's mouth and the look of her face as she sucks in her cheeks
>describes char's sounds and does the onomatopoeia I asked for in the preset and also hints at her mental state
>muffles words, describes her tongue work, describes her saliva
>pauses to give me some dialogue too, continues vivid descriptions, makes sure to tie back into the thing that brought us to this scene in the first place
How is that not a vivid description of the sex scene? I can clearly picture everything that's happening thanks to that description. How would having a bunch of dialogue help you picture that just because she says fuck and cock ten times?
>>
>>106700148
does grok 4 fast not think?
>>
>>106700168
You can enable and disable reasoning
>>
what's the current free meta? still google ai's gemini and free openrouter options?
>>
>>106699975
I'm not gonna defend sloppers, but my point is I like to write my own bots and gen my own pic in a style unique to that particular character. I don't see how this is bad or how it's better for me to go find something made my someone else.
