Everything is already from China, but here we discuss the cheap chink shit you see on various sites.

I've got 2 pairs from them. The pricing of the Soundpeats seems really, really good for what it offers though. I put it in my cart last sale after discounts and it came to a total of $7.30

They're practically cheaper Moondrops. ANC/transparent/normal mode at around 5 hours usage time. Low latency gaming mode. I believe the mics have inbuilt noise cancellation which is super rare at this price. Then there's the extra stuff like app and equalizer and customizable buttons.
But yeah, an anon said they sounded like shit so now I want to know how shit exactly.

Echo Mini. Barebones UX, but light and to the point.
Old ipods are pretty expensive now, and with modern IEMs they're too noisy. Audio out isn't as clean, and new IEMs are pretty sensitive. Had to plug an impedance adapter into my Classic 5G to not go deaf with an annoying hiss.

bullet dodged then as flashlight/EDC 'tism is one of the worst

Also, when it comes to picking flashlights and really all EDC gear my philosophy is that less is more (money saved). Plus you avoid going down the route of those retarded EDC bloggers that carry a hoard of several thousands of dollars of gear they don't use in their backpacks.

Actually I usually do this when camping, but it helps that im rather far north so I'll only really be camping around summer and in summer it's light (Doesn't even get dark sometimes). Winter is the opposite, though.

>>106715977
You dont have to be part of it if you dont want to, anon.

Sure. In the end you usually dont end up using stuff that's why for me a flashlight should be small and clippable or keychainable.

Small bundle order arrived
>SMD vacuum pump holder thingy (0.90€)
Works surprisingly well, also the body is metal, I was assuming it would be plastic. Pleasantly surprised.
>Mechanic C210 soldering tip replacement (1.60€)
It's mechanic, so it works well. It comes in a weirdly overengineered plastic box instead of the normal ones that generic tips come in.
>Generic "industrial" tweezers (1.38€ for the pair)
Surprisingly decent. Not as good as the mechanic meme tweezers, but at half the price for two I'm glad I got them. Seem similarly sturdy, but surface finish isn't as great as the mechanic ones.
>Zigbee smart bulb (2.28€)
Works as all the zigbee bulbs I've ever gotten do, no complaints
>Zigbee smart plug (2.13€)
This one doesn't seem to want to pair for some reason. Will have to spend some time trying to get it to work, but for now not a recommendation.

>Knife holder (3.34€)
Ignore the wet areas, I was cleaning shit.
On the left you can see my old knife holder, one of those with the bundle of plastic sticks that you put the knife in. I find that these are fundamentally badly designed, eventually as you put your knife in one of the sticks isn't in perfect alignment as you press the blade down and thus you make it angled. Then each time you use it, more and more of these sticks get tangled up, misaligned and start laying into each other. As a result you can either not use that area anymore, or jam it in with force, which only makes the problem worse. Relatives have similarly designed ones (they also gifted me that one) and it has the same issue, so I think it's just fundamentally badly designed.
On the right is the ali one. It's very simple, but dimensions are similar, it's hollow inside and instead has a grid at the top that aligns the blades, and a sort of second level grid just below the one you see that's much closer, so the blades are actually locked into place with some resistance and can't touch each other. It's a lot better designed than I expected. Probably not great for big kitchen knives (8-10 inch chef knives or cleavers) but for me those go on the magnet bar anyways, so this is great for all the others.
Overall, would recommend. Still can't quite understand how they can produce and ship that for 3.34€ to me and not make a loss, but I'll take it.
>>
>>106716119
As for my autistic collecting it's more powerbanks, but I do use them too.
I don't really buy lights, because they disappoint me, but I do make my own with china parts, but that's way cheaper (and more fun building them)

But their way it's pretty cheap toys, even for the nicer $30 lights
>>
>>106714521

can u buy supplements like melatonin on alix? would that be a stupid idea? starting to think chinese supplements are more trustworthy than the western garbage, which is mostly produced in india anyway. also starting to think western food inspection is corrupt and lets through anything.
>>
>>106717546
Almost certainly depends on where you live, in my country it automatically gives a "did not give any results" answer, which means it's filtered.
Ebay has higher chances of success I know that some of the chem youtubers like nilered gets some of his chemicals from there, but QA is shit and often he gets chemicals stretched with other stuff.
I probably wouldn't bother, look into online pharmacies or trusted websites, then have them sell generics from india for cheap.

>>106717545
Interesting, I was under the impression steam worked by soaking the fibers of the fabric, but polyester has no fibers so I guess the heat of the steam is enough, thanks anon.

oh hell no. pharma grade shit I know where to get, you can just check on steroidesourcetalk. stuff from turkish and russian pharmacies etc. as for anything from india, directly ordering from indiamart pharmacies works. but the chinkshit supps and herbs, I havent figured out yet how to get them. And I have a suspicion they might be cheaper and better than the rest.

a lot of the generics that enters my country is from india. i stock up on indian painkillers and allergy medicine and pay like 1/4 the price
>>
>>106717920
Impossible to say for everyone, for me it's usually correct with maybe fluctuations of a day at worst.
It usually doesn't update as the days pass (as in the date, the actual tracking does update), but once the package is in your country, you usually get a local tracking number (sometimes even before it's in your country). Then you can enter that on the app of your local courier or 17track or something like that, and that will update and be more accurate, down to a GPS of the delivery vehicle for me.

yes, precisely. iherb is exactly one of those sellers I want to dodge because I believe their stuff is bunk. I had a supp from bioeva which worked wonderfully in 2022. But then the package/brand changed and it stopped working, even at twice the dose.

how does the pump work? like can you take the solder out afterwards?
small tips always come in those boxes in my experience

>>106717372
be sure to clean it, like with any cup thing holder, like toothbrush holder, water will pool down a bit on the bottom and residual bacteria will make it a horrible swamp over time.
>>
>>106718158
>how does the pump work? like can you take the solder out afterwards?
It's not a solder pump, but rather a pump used to safely move ICs
You can basically create a bit of suction with the button on the side and use that together with a silicone tip to grip onto and move ICs and SMD parts.

The actual solder pumps that you use for desoldering do work differently. Those are almost always made in such a way that you can easily unscrew and clean them.

>be sure to clean it, like with any cup thing holder, like toothbrush holder, water will pool down a bit on the bottom and residual bacteria will make it a horrible swamp over time.
Chang thought of that, it has drainage holes in the bottom. Those will drain right onto my countertop, but it will prevent a disgusting permanently wet swamp in there at least.
>>
>>106718158
>how does the pump work?
dude is the equivalent of precision tweezers not a desoldering pump

I got a couple low voltage light sensor switches and they seem nice.

The bottom is my own modification where I taped the board down, added some grommets, and put USB ends on it. I later found out they sell versions already wired for USB but I'm sure you pay more for those. I also drilled a hole to be able to access the button on the board that cycles through modes. I can't figure out what the five modes actually do and lost track of the listing that mentioned them, but it might be a sensitivity adjustment. The last two modes blink.
It does have a dim blue LED to indicate power and modes, but it might not be enough draw to keep every power bank on.

Pretty cool though and I'll probably pick up some more.
