I'm playing a youtube video in mpv, how can I download that video that's playing/save the currently playing video to a file path on my computer?
>>
>>106775327
BIG PROBLEM.
I was having an issue with my taskbar on Win 7 (being weird when hovering over a program, had to click on it to show all my windows) so restarted explorer.exe and now it looks like this, clicking on the sound mixer does nothing and the internet icon is gone.
What's weird is that it was like this the last time i booted up my PC (months ago) I restarted the explorer back then and it fixed it, but now that doesn't work. I rebooted it like 4 times and it was the same each time.

Your installation has spyware

Seriously? is that what all these fucking rundll32.exe's are?
What can i do to fix it?
>>
>>106775592
I would go into Safe Mode and see if those rundll32 are running in the task manager. If not, reboot into normal mode and msconfig and services.msc in Run and disable some services. Or, just reinstall with a different .iso. not any jeetOS 7, though
>>
>>106775654
I'd really rather not restart my computer and do anything too drastic right now (I'm fairly tech illiterate for /g/). I just want to get my taskbar back to normal.
>>
>>106775689
rundll32 is a Windows process that gets invoked often, but, not the way you're showing and experiencing. You have malware. Use task manager and go to file, run and you're win m explorer.exe and hit enter
>>

Is it true that even if I purchase the exact same model of RAM, it might not work in a 4 slot dual channel mother board, because of "tiny differences during manufacturing"?
>>
>>106775825
And by same model I mean a dual kit. I already have one and I purchased another kit, everything's the same.
>>
>>106775740
Yeah I've been doing that, ending the explorer.exe and restarting it just like that, but it hasn't been working. And like I mentioned, it's especially weird since that's what I did to fix it months ago when I had this same issue.
And if it is malware, do you know how I can find and fix it?
>>
>>106775856
Do you have Nvidia GPU running GeForce experience or anything??? Reinstall your GPU. See if they works
>>
>>106775877
I've got a 970 but i'm not currently running GeForce Experience, haven't launched it or updated my drivers in years. How would i even go about reinstalling my GPU, you mean physically?

During the late 1990's, I remember seeing a standalone printer in a video game magazine that you could plug into an analog TV or VCR of that era that could print a screenshot of what's on your screen. You didn't use a computer, it worked by itself. Does anybody have any recollection of a printer like this? I remember thinking at that time how cool it would be to print out images of cartoons I watched.

theres a couple factors
it may not be tiny differences in manufacturing, it could be totally different manufacturers depending on the way they're binned
also just running 4 dimms is harder to do, more noise on the signal paths, more load on the memory controller

if I attach 2 monitors of different sizes and weight to the same 'dual holder' monitor arm, will I create a singularity or will it be fine?

No, the drivers. Get DDU

An update broke my Arch. Thankfully, I had Timeshift and was able to restore it. Now I'm afraid to update. What do I do?
>>
>>106778328
Download the arch lts kernel, update, boot to the lts kernel with grub, see if it breaks again, if it doesn't then it's the latest kernel

Pretty sure there are loads of devices like these - mostly thermal paper based.
But I do remember watching this cathoderaydude video of a dye sublimation one from 1999/2000: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIrQX5bvzow
The quality is a lot higher than thermal printers and it has basic discard-based deinterlacing
>>
>>106778869
olympus seem to have made a bunch of other dyesub photo printers too. Ebay is lighting up for "olympus photo printer"

make sure the thing you're anchoring the arm to is solid. I saw someone attach it to their cardboard ikea desk and it bent upwards lol

ADVChina for instance
>>
>>106778740
I made this powershell script to do it for myself since your idea sounds quite nice. Requires yt-dlp of course
if (!$args) { return "You need to pass the channel url so yt-dlp can get the video urls :) - if you want to ignore shorts, add /videos to the channel url"; }

$urls = ./yt-dlp --flat-playlist --print urls $args[0]
start ($urls | get-random)
>>
>>106779460
powershell? im sorry brother, im on linux mint (debian edition)
>>
>>106779639
you just need to get yt-dlp setup with pipx and updated to the latest version because youtube is always breaking it then you can run his command from your terminal
yt-dlp --flat-playlist --print urls

WTF lol
You do know that all of the 'new Windows BAD' commentary is just boomerspook fearmonger trash by retarded people, right?
You have basically decided 'I don't want Microsoft to know a few nothingburger things about my Windows usage, BUT I REALLY, REALLY want everything I own and do to be completely viewable and accessible to China, Russia, North Korea, India, Somalia, Pakistan, etc...'
The machine is probably a malware/spyware piñata by now.
>>
Besides Malwarebytes, what are some good one-off virus scanners? I just want to download it, d/c from the internet, do a full scan and then remove it.
Thanks

How do I get my file thumbnails to show previews of images? Some jpgs are displayed while some aren't

It's important to note that if I delete one of the thumbnail-less files and immediately ctrl+z to undo it, the thumbnail appears.
