Looks like it's little more than another way to build a character card, in a way that makes it less likely to for the bot to break character during roleplay.
It might be worth experimenting a bit with it and see if their claims hold when the RP drags on, and how it behaves when its used for an obscure/original character instead of a celebrity .

>>106778317
They've been obsolete from day one. Only the lowest of the low IQ thirdies with no imagination, aphantasia and poor language skills ever needed the services of a "botmakie". This is further supported by the fact that most "botmakies" are from the favelas of Brazil, Russia and SEA.

The next batch of Blue Archive character cards. Featured this time are the ladies from the Justice Task Force.

>Mashiro
Sniper, hangs out in high places, obsessed with justice, wears a skirt so short that she's basically bottomless.

https://files.catbox.moe/t2nuxt.png

>Koharu
Horny and Stupid.
https://chub.ai/characters/hairpullguy/shimoe-koharu-non-ai-ae92f023618c
https://files.catbox.moe/jlbmae.png

>JTF Mob-chan(s)
This one is quite different from my usual. It's not a specific character, but a card for the background characters of the JTF. These faceless girls are SUPER popular with the game's fandom, more than a lot of the named ones, even.
https://chub.ai/characters/hairpullguy/jtf-mob-chan-non-ai-6c9eb0b33aeb
https://files.catbox.moe/2ifgzv.png

>where are the other birds?
Ichika and Hasumi will get swimsuit alts on the next BlueFes so I'll wait until I see their new events and momos. Those are super important in making these cards behave like the in-game characters. As for Tsurugi....I can't say I care much about her, so maybe I'll make her later.

>where are the shupogakis
I was supposed to make them next but I got distracted. Plus I ended up loving Aoba way more than the twins.

Not gonna lie Chub is kinda cool now that I'm really getting around to it. Some of the characters on there are pretty good at immersion and staying in character.
There are times when the memory is kinda fuzzy though huh. I don't think it would be all that good for DnD roleplay.
>>
>>106778317
I don't give a shit about botniggers but you're beyond delusional if you think RAG is in any way usable for someone with the average slop tolerance of /aicg/. Or that RAG usage would somehow... eliminate the need for handwritten prose?
>>
>>106779079
>handwritten prose
AI-generated greetings are fine since all outputs will end up being AI-generated anyway.
>>
>>106779054
Same I only made an account and really started exploring a few days ago

>>
>>106779040

>>
>>106779079
>eliminate the need for handwritten prose
There never was a need for this. It's just placebo. The style of the defs doesn't matter. Literally anything but an empty preset overrides the writing style of the greeting.
>>
It's low-key kinda funny how gemini will always rate its slop higher than other (not famous) authors when asked to compare anonymised excerpts. The latest judgement I've gotten on its own work is "god-tier". At least you know gemini's giving its best every time.
>>
>>106779318
If this is geminis best I'd hate to see it's worst.
>>
Is sonnet 4.5 the best model at JP > EN TL?
>>
>>106778760
cringe asf
>>
>>106779346
Its worst is actually somewhat serviceable. The trick I'm trying to tease out is how to disentangle this more creative, less polished mode with grug-tier syntax. The best success I've had is with having a human-written prefill, but it's still a gamble and the output returns to the mean after ~6 paragraphs max.
>>
Is this what deepseek api supposed to look like? I don't know why it works on first prompt and then it gets sporadic and starts working less and less on subsequent only giving empty replies half the time . I'm guessing cache shit
>>
>>106779411
>human-written prefill
As opposed to what?
You aren't letting bots write your prompts are you?
>>
>>106779422
Use Opus 4.1, cuckie
>>
Also the thinking doesn't show up and starts each response now as of today with "<|endofthinking|>”
>>
I don't even need gemini 3, just a gemini 2.6 positivity patch would be enough
>>
Deepchink gives such short responses, to think this is what they keep shilling
Back to claude I go
>>
>>106779429
As opposed to a normal jb, OOC, or thinking prefill. To be clear, I mean dump as much of the written/good story context into the prefill as you can, leaving with an unfinished sentence so gemini is strongly predisposed to acting like a base model and continuing the document. And no, sadly I've never had any luck with recursive prompt improvement/bot-generated prompts. The closest that has worked is starting a chat and just telling it how to improve its style as the chat progresses. But this doesn't transfer between chats and floods the context with potentially unwanted events/characterisations/etc. I only really do this recursive-like prompting to search for keywords and get insight into how the model thinks.

Leah Trace is your typical tomboyish trailer park trash yeen who rents out a small room to you in her run down trailer.

She is brash, abrasive and a heavy alcoholic.

Idk if those anons are memeing but yes, unless you're constantly summarizing and starting over, AI's writing style will eventually take over, usually within 10-20 responses. These days I don't even write greetings, I begin with some narration about where I am or how I'm interacting with char. Regardless, that article was about how RAG would help LLMs stay in character during interactions with hostile users. It's not really for our usecase, except the occasional anon screeching about "she/her" spam or whatever. If anything it's bad for us because OOC commenting will be much harder.

Various ways. Makes me think the model is badly quantised because there's muddling & discontinuity. Try asking or eliciting for wattpad-style writing, or "lower quality", or "simple, direct, unornamented". One way to discover a working prompt is ask it to make a table comparing the style of a human-written sample and a gemini-written sample, anonymously of course, and then use that table with "do/don't" headers for prompting. Or even just ask it to use the analysis it just made to write some more in the style of the human text you'll often get something grug-brained if it's deemed the human work "simpler". May want to mention ellipsis as that seems to have a positive effect. As for how to make it high-quality... that depends on your taste. This method just shakes it out of isms (spamming appositive & descriptive phrases, useless metaphor, farcical attempts at building tension/atmodphere). Once there, it's relatively easy to steer it to more unusual/imaginative writing so long as it's in grug syntax. However, I'd recommend leaning into the zoomie/wattpad vectors for something entertaining to read. Increasing temperature and encouraging typos helps with this. Also, keep in mind that gemini appears to perceive style as being separated into a lot of different components, ones I can't pin to human language. My advice given that is to not see style as something you can prompt with a line or paragraph, but something that receives definition from a lot of different angles. Genre, mood/tone, audience, author personality, text/author history/context, writing skill, writing taste, use of devices, etc., etc. Sorry I can't hand you pure coom on a platter. This is all still very ad-hoc as I feel out the model.

I agree that style is more than language, like writing structures, narrative structures etc. You can even tell if an author is left wing or right wing from the theme. So why focus so much on the isms? They're the most surface level part of the style, I don't think they're steering a lot.

The isms trigger my autism. That's all there is to it. I can't even read some of my older writing without REEEing at the sight of an 'a' first thing after a comma. It's emblematic of a wishy-washy, pseudo-literary style I despise. Made all the worse because gemini has the lamest taste in figurative language and imagery. I'm only putting in this effort for Gemini because everywhere else I think it's actually quite good or better than the others. Once you really JB it, it writes the filthiest, most fucked up smut and gets really creative. Nice swipe variety. Characters feel good and it has a good grasp of pacing and narrative arcs. Handles my convoluted lore and instructions pretty well. Everything amazing except it just can't fucking quit it with that bullshit literary structure.

nta but just don't like em, don't need em
At times I get the impression that it gradually drives the ai into a hysterically feminine style that clashes with the tone of the setting and gratuitously delays actual plot occurrences
>>

I've been using GLM-4.6 since it came out. Tried Sonnet 4.5 and I like the writing a lot, better swipe variety than Opus, but Claude has been getting worse with smut.

it's quite good, I like it more than any models except 4.1pus and 3.6net. much less euphemistic than Claude and very sensitive to context poisoning.
