As he's my new manager and I do what he tells me to do as part of my contract, there is not much "push back" as I would do as a normal employee. My only tools are the following, either:

Any embedded systems devs here? Do you have any tips on how to break into embedded? I've been a backend dev (java) for ~2 years but working on web apps is genuinely soul-crushing. The only reason I even have this job is because I couldn't even land any interviews for a junior embedded position a couple of years ago. I can handle myself well in C (C++ too, but I like C more). Like I made note that "This won't work with this operation teams practice.", "I'd like signoff from operations before we implement this.", "I'd like one of our teams to try this out and test this" but I'd get ghosted by them and then my boss said we'll just put it in pause and now his initiative is just push it out no matter what and I'm just like are you fucking serious? Thanks to the re-org too, everyone's now insanely too busy to UAT and fuck if I know anything about operations to come up with test cases and edge case testing. This sucks.

PowerShell is super easy to work with, I came to him regarding that specific script for two reasons 1) he claimed to have lots of experience with it, decades of experience in IT, and considered himself to be a SME.
