I caved and bought another salnotes zero after losing my old one. It was like $14, I just miss the neutral sound. The gate is almost perfect but the cymbals sound weird on a few songs. I thought the Zero had "just enough" bass. I guess if I don't like it as much as I used to, at least the ear tips that come with it are good.
