11.11 sale v2: electric boogaloo edition

Everything is already from China, but here we discuss the cheap chink shit you see on various sites.
1st rule of /csg/: If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Are there any non-shit projector options? I don't expect quality for less than 200, but maybe someone found some decent ones?
>>
>>107217829
Define non-shit.
The absolute cheapest that's not essentially e-waste is the HY300, but that's still very much on the shit spectrum for those who want to use it as a regular driver.
I got one and it's fine for my usecase, review was in >>105737799
If you wanted to use it as a home cinema setup I'd get something more expensive though.

I was considering one of these fleece cozies for comfy nights.
They come in 4 sizes:
- 180 cm (1.1 kg fabric)
- 150 cm(900g fabric)
- 120 cm (800g fabric)
- 110 cm (700g fabric)

Price isn't prohibitive for any of the versions, so let's put that aside, but I was wondering what size I should get. I'm 184cm tall for reference.
From my chair to my head it's ~90 cm.
115cm would be to my knees.
150 is to somewhere down my shins.
180 is basically down my entire body almost.

On the one hand, it being too short seems like it'd defeat the point somewhat as it'd just be a fuzzy sweater.
On the other I fear too long is a pain to wear and walk around in at home, and a pain to get off since you seem to just slip in at the bottom.
Currently unsure between 120 and 150 cm.
What would (you) choose?

Frog sleeping mask 1€, WT32-ETH 1.5€, DMX Splitter 22€, 30W charger + 2 lighting cables 7.5€

topcb (au) gave 20% during 11/11 and will do it again when BF comes. it's been this way for the last few years now for me personally. the only difference for me this year is that i have a few coupons lined up from playing the games which sweetens the pot.
topcb customer service always comes through for me, but like you i have to wait months to get my money.

First time looking to try aliexpress for some non-tech stuff and tips i heard not to get scammed was sellers with a high rating and thousands of feedback/reviews but looking for glass cabinets i haven't found any seller even close to having those metrics. Is this normal with how many sellers there are and is there a way to narrow down the more established sellers?
>>
>>107224785
depends on what exactly you are looking for. if its an expensive cabinet there wont be many buys, so read everything you can.

- look for reviews with images
- check all the seller images and specs carefully, often the thumbnail image is not representative of what you will get.

I need someone who's good with smart home / home assistant shit

So I have an apartment, and it came with this intercom. It's "smart", in a sense that I can connect to it through SIP, I have it on my phone as well, the app is garbage tho. Its POE. I'm just wondering if its possible to replace this with a POE tablet that would serve intercom purpose AND let me build all kinds of home assistant dashboards as well? Or would the POE/USB tablet have to find some other place?

The app I use for this is complete garbage - neither me nor other reviewers can get it to work now, and I think devs gave up on it (VDP Connect - it connect through POE, video feed sometimes works, calls never get directed to it). So if that's my only choice, I'm screwed, right?

Any good walking pads? I can't buy a treadmill, too big for my room and none of my family members want one so I have to leave it in my room.
Usually I would just go outside and walk, but winter comes around and I can't do it. Or when there's a storm outside. I just want to move a couple hours a day.
I'm worried my fat ass would break these flimsy walking pads in a month.

Just buy one from a local vendor that accepts returns.
Shipping and tariffs won't do you any favours.
t. recently bought one merac t21 or whatever for physical therapy after a motorbike accident.
I don't expect it to last too long before it either craps out or goes on craigslist following recovery, but in the meantime it's worked well. Haven't tested it at normal people walking speeds though. It works well at the slow inconsistent shuffle that I can currently manage.
Keep in mind that most of these are meant for women. they're narrow, so if you're duck footed or have a wide stance I don't think you should buy without trying.

Short answer: Gulikit Elves 2 for d-pad games, Gamesir Cyclone 2 for everything else.

Long answer: Still in the process of updating my recs, but this is everything that sticks out to me in the current market

>extra buttons + touchpad, fully remappable via external software (Steam Input, DS4Windows, etc)
Steam Controller 2 (unreleased)
Dualsense Edge
>extra buttons, fully remappable in onboard memory
Gamesir Cyclone 2, Tarantula Pro, Super Nova, G7 Pro

ZD O+, Ultimate Legend
Mobapad Huben 2
>extra buttons, fully remappable via external software

>touchpad, remappable via external software
DS4
Dualsense
IINE Bastet/Fantech Nova Pro (back buttons only remappable to other buttons on the controller)

>Saturn d-pad on a fully featured controller

Pretty sure they have an Ali store, but I've never specifically aimed to buy from the official stores for any third party controller since other sellers usually had what I wanted for less. >assumed shipping was fairly cheap.
Yes. But no.

I hear there's some subsidisation to some postage. A lot of these smaller things get consolidated together, downstream. So by waiting a day for another five dozen packages to fill that box they can get some bulk on.

But generally, it's a long distance. Then it leaves their country. Doesn't tend to be 'cheap'. Tho I encourage you to investigate what your local postal service would charge for simialr.

For larger things like them cabinets, there's not much in the way of cramming other things into otherwise wasted space to drive down costs. Airfrieght tends to go by weight, and anything 'cabinet' worth getting should be heavy, ie: not cheap to fly.

Shipping containers... Bit of a waste for one cabinet. But if you *fill* a shipping container with cabinets then the cost of shipping it, per unit, might begin to approach something palletable. Pun intended.
>>
>>107233046
maybe they made a deal that was like "we'll give you this shit that you can sell with a big markup, but we'll give you a discount if you also act as our local warehouse for the stuff and we'll sell it online at a cheaper price"

after playing around with my HY300 i've changed my opinion on it. see, i considered it to be a very subpar projector but in actuality it's a media device that's also a projector.
i sideloaded smarttube and xtra on it to watch ad-free youtube and twitch. it's also got native netflix. it tanks 4k encoded vids like a boss.
it supports bluetooth so earbuds+keyboard+mouse can be connected concurrently. it's so low power that it can probably run off a powerbank somehow.

the image sucks as you'd expect from an LED projector at $25. at 4-5m the entire image is dark while projecting at 1m to the wall is pointless. there's also the edges being blurry and the touchstone edge straightening is a meme. still though, $25 for pretty much a wifi tablet.

Finally got to gimping together some review!
>Dice
Printing quality is meh, but apart from that picture, it's all good enough. Like seriously, who is even on top in that position? also, seems to roll quite random.
>not-lego dinosaurs
neat. The kids will love it as stocking stuffers. Very strong clamping force though.
>nipple not-piercings
very neat. Kinda looks like the real deal and very adjustable. I like the versioin with tassles.
Also, it was much cheaper on choice sale, than it now is with 1111. And the dice got culled in the great european prudery wave.

The resistors are on the back of the pcb.
The reason this thing has 5 pins is it's meant to be soldered onto the pads where there previously was a micro usb. the jacket is even non-standard size for packaging.
I won't be replacing the connector on things that require data, just power.
Maybe an old controller too but I need to figure out a solution to most firmly mount the thing.
>>
>>107232151
how's the monitor?
I've been thinking about one of those portable ones but I can never really justify what is effectively a tablet without the tablety bits.

The one on top. I can’t figure out which person is supposed to be the male and who is supposed to be the female. But now that I think of it, it’s 2025, so that’s kinda to be expected.
>>107234244
Yes. But I figured it was worth pointing out. I don’t know if it’s pro-tier certified random, but for the intended purpose it seems random enough.

Got the scooter not>>107231444
Everything is in ordnung so far.

Lifting a 65 Kg scooter out of its box while you're alone is a big bitch though.
But this method worked. I'm going to do some range tests this week, to a town that's 25km away, let's see if it has enough juice for a return trip.

65kg of high capacity cells of dubious quality would fucking terrify me, I hope you've got a shed or garage to keep that thing in.
>>
>>107234972
I'm not worried at all. China is the mainproducer of the majority of all battery in the world.
>>
>>107235024
Yes, and all the duds that didn't pass inspection probably went right into your scooter, with 40% off probably because they've burned down a few houses in China and they had to take them off the market.
>>
>>107234691
It's fine, the only problem I see is noticeable input lag when scrolling. Not idea about color accuracy, looks good enough to me.
Here's the model but there's probably better listings, the box and manuals have no branding on them anywhere.

>I can never really justify what is effectively a tablet without the tablety bits
A similar size tablet would cost a lot more and I don't care for the tablety bits, and I didn't find a simple non-proprietary solution to use a tablet as a second monitor.
>>
>>107235040
We will see about that, won't we? I'm going to come back here every week just to laugh at you.
>>
>>107234972
>65kg of high capacity cells
By the way, it's not that much battery.
The hub wheels are actually heavy mofos. 6000 wattt magnet motors is heavy as fuck, minimum 10 kg each.
The iron box and steering are chunky as fuck too.
The battery itself can't be more than 15kg.

I didnt want to spend literally $450/pc (quoted from some chinese guy who was bad at sending data sheets) so the $2 shit ones will have to do. The blue ones the i2c and its just too low res for what i need, and the usb one seems like absolute ass to work with. At least its driver is open source.

If you mean C3, yes. But get some of the ones with a nice big gap between the ceramic antenna and the rest of the circuitry on the board. Apparently they offer better WiFi connectivity. Got the motorbike pants and theyre a pretty good fit, but the top of the pants goes up past my bellybutton
Idk if chang thinks all westerners are 190cm or if that's the way pants are in china, I cant wear it lower or else the knee protection will be under the knee which defeats the whole point
>>
>>107240292
You might have weird proportions (I do, when I get a suit I always have to tailor it because my arms are too short).
Past the bellybutton is a bit extreme, but some specific cuts for pants sit higher on the hips intentionally. No idea if that includes motorcycle gear or not.

The bags they sit in are ofted adjustable, or the foam itself has a velcro strap to it.
You can always sow the bag slightly higher. Turn the pants inside out to have a better look as to where they go.

I'm usually between an M and an S, I got a bit bigger due to manual labor and I'm mostly M now and I'm a pretty average height of around 175cm, average all around
According to this product page I was supposed to pick an L size for this based on my weight tho, its not even waist size its weight lol
Also I'm an idiot and didn't realize the pants come with some awful "moto-lang" branding embroiled on the pockets, everyone is gonna know its chink crap

Wear your chinkshit loud and proud.

I get what you mean though, even for western brands I really don't like that I am meant to pay them to make my clothes and then they get to use me as advertising space. No visible branding or if you have to then very subtle branding is where it's at.

first off in the settings of the projector you need to disable a security option to allow you to install 3rd party apps on it
the usb you're going to put the apps on needs to be exfat. download the apks on your computer and drag them into the usb drive. load them in the projector's file manager and you're done.
