You are working with a pattern matching machine, never forget that just because it *seems* to give smart responses, it is not working or thinking like a human and will not react to your input like one.

What happens if you tell the model:
"You are an expert role player with awesome worlds and characters"
First off, the model has no clue what you just said or want from it because it is stupid and can't think. What it will do is check words and patterns to find similar contexts where such a phrase might have been used. What do you think the reference for that kind of phrasing will be? Probably some Neopets-forum-level RP stuff. And what do you think happened in such forum threads where that phrase was used? Probably kids writing on a kids' level and being told to do better. Them being kids, they might honestly try and then still do the same as before. No pattern change. Now, if that is the reference the model will pull up, how do you think it will act afterward? Right. At best, nothing will change. At worst, the references were such garbage that it actually gets worse.
90% of all instructions commonly used by people around here and in public presets have that effect. Useless at best, likely even detrimental.

Same as the first. The model is clueless for what you want, but now it is also a pretentious token waste. Or is it? Where do you think the model will find its references this time?
