>>107524601Stalinman comes off as very unpleasant person, sort of autistic narcissist. I don't really understand why he is some sort of /g/ symbol. He's just the sort of guy who joins your table and then explains how he invented it...
>>107527053Neat opinion.

ashleyposter here, as it turns out, 247 (149 of which involve ashley in some way shape or form) out of 565 images in my folder are related in some way to the coffin game, the second biggest piece of my folder is taken by images related to flcl with 53now that i have said something, i might as well to reply to people, even though i have basically ran out of people i haven't already replied to>>107528390by the way really love your classic theme setup, real sleek>>107528608well, if it isnt my favorite person in the entire history of my presence in desktop threads, how's it going?>>107525661oh and sup to you 2
>>107528006>>107528068this is beyond my ricing skills, but i want to ask whether you two use a system tray, and if you think one should on a tiler. i use dwm and you basically have to decide between the alpha patch and systray because even if you do get it working, it won't look good, as the tray won't share the transparency. problem is the applets are more intuitive than any terminal based tool i could have on a scratchpad. >>107528049>how are your eyes you gooddamn dualipa-liking faggotthe other day i saw someone on twitter say something along the lines of as a european not being attracted to dua lipa because she activates his epigenetic memory of a gypsy woman trying to distract him so that her brothers can steal his cattle, and i could not have put this mutual feeling into words better myself.
>>107524601if linus was a demsoc, stallman would be a stalinist by comparison
>>107529490personally think linus is a run of the mill liberal
>>107524506this looks great, can you tell me more about your setup?
>>107529619nta, but other than the fact that this is kde2 there is nothing much to saythere are ways one can patch it to work under anything modern, maybe even modern freebsdi swear i saw tutorials somewhere covering installing kde2 on arch
>>107529407tranny chan hereI don’t use a systray, but I know many tiling wms and bars support them. Personally, I don’t find it necessary. I never really used the system tray before I removed it, and I don’t see a reason to bring it back. It helps that it’s been years since I even used one. So I guess it just depends on whether you find it useful. Plus it is a bit of an eyesore.
>>107529630thank you,i'm fairly new to linux in general and i wanted to create an environment that'd have a layout of windows 98/2000 since i can do anything with the UI

>>107529638nwm, i actually found a dwm repo that had a 6.6 systray + alpha patch ready. still had to manually fix it for some reason, but curiously not the function that defines how the bar is drawn with the system tray, which had been giving me so many problems. it now works and the tray is also transparent behind it, something i3 hasn't figured out. i don't have to chose anymore.

Made my own Emerald theme. I also discovered the CrosCore fonts which are compatible with MS fonts and look good on workstations.I wish there was a decent standalone panel with appmenu support because for these ones I have to do hacks with the environment to make it work properly. If you use AppMenus I reccomend mate-hud, it provides all the menu items in rofi when you tap the ALT key.
Why am I such a tinker tranny? I've been messing with my setup every other day for the past twenty years.
>>107528307>i dont get people who use spotify though, pirating mp3s or flacs is better.I split my listening between youtube, spotify and mp3s.
