DDR5 does not work and play well with 4 sticks. You need 2x32. Drop to an 850w PSU. Probably save another $100 at least on the motherboard.

Gay. He gets like 400w extra for $50 and it will last him 10 years for any future build. Seems like a good use of money.

>>107554809
DDR5 does not work correctly with 4 sticks. Just reality. At best, it'll probably default down to 4800 and still not be stable.

No, they all have 4 slots. Why these days, I have no idea. But you're only going to use slots 2 and 4. As for mobos, look at lower priced ones. I guarantee one will have the ports you need. And still be a good board with lots of lanes, cooling, etc.

I currently have a 3090ti but I have been getting flashes to black for a couple of seconds then come back when on browser or desktop (but not while gaming or watching movie). Have already tried old and newer drivers with clean installs.
So I think my gpu is slowly dying, should I get a 5090 now or try and wait till we see what else is coming out in 2026?
and if get, which version of the 5090 to grab?

2 months ago I built my PC, let’s see how much the price has increased

• 64gb Corsair 6000Mhz ram
$244 to $995
• 2TB Samsung 9100 Pro
$199 to $229
• Zotac RTX 5090
$2,299 to $3,095
• Ryzen 9 9950X3D
$655 to $679
• Lian Li Hydroshift II-C 360TL

Other parts remained the same. Overall an increase of over $1,400 in just 2 months and it’s expected to get worse with storage now also starting to be limited

You're too late to buy cheap & good SSDs.
Crucial P5 Plus is one of the cheaper Gen 4 NVMe drives with DRAM in the US ($176).
Micron should have some leftover stock for RMA if you end up with a faulty one (not very likely to happen).

This is a DRAMless alternative, but the price difference isn't big enough to pick it.

Kinda cooked, a ryzen 5600g, I'm new to PC gaming, but based on the little I know, if I game at 1080p max settings everything, or 1440, the GPU should take most of the work load and not giga bottleneck this thing
High chances is a mother board with pci express 4 so that's gonna bottle neck the GPU a little bit
