Thank you based and blessed anon(s) who helped. I will eat the cost for U14S for now since it's just slightly behind the D15S.
Thankfully the offset kit for U14S is able to come tomorrow with Amazon prime rather than be 2-3 weeks out. I also ordered a second 140mm fan and rubber gasket NA-IS1-14 so I can also do push and pull on the U14S.

If it ends up being meh I will just take this as a learning experience and do better next time. I appreciate all the education, I was so used to the common Intel go-to brands for years I never looked at alternatives.

I'm in the same situation. Decided to build a PC just because I never did it before, never played games besides Diablo 2 (20 years ago), was only on macs or whatever shit they gave me at work, always been into computers (programming) but never was too interested in the whole PC gaming thing. I had the money for all these years being employed as a programmer but never did it. Finally two months ago (perfect timing, right?) decided to just spend some real cash on decent new PC parts, spent the whole night assembling the thing, was too much fun. Installed and booted everything and I started thinking on what things to run to see my creation in full action. First thing I bought was Diablo 4 (fucking shit compared to Diablo 2 but oh well), ran perfect on my 100Hz 1080p monitor vsyncing it and disabling all the "AI" shit and putting everything else to max. Then started looking at Steam sales, got RDR2, CoD: Cold War, Mortal Kombat 1, Doom Eternal and a bunch more popular games. All ran perfect but maybe only Cold War grabbed my attention for more than an hour since I like that period and military stuff (I was serving in the Special Forces in an ex Warsaw Pact country (Eastern Europe)).

They do run hotter than Intel, and even non-x3d AMD chips. But your cooling isn't optimal. With proper case airflow and a 360mm AIO, I consistently idle at 43C and never really get over 75c under full load.

realistically a generation of GPU, that CPU is barely not a bottleneck for the 9070XT but next GPU upgrade you will have to upgrade the CPU too gurantee

I wish I could remember exactly what I did when I moved overseas. Do you still have the boxes the parts came in? I partially disassembled it, maybe I had a low profile cooler since I slapped the mobo/cpu/ram in the antistatic bag the mobo came in and put it back in its box, then whatever else was too big or too fragile I put back in their boxes (ssd, hdd gpu, etc).
