Well my keyboard died just now(corsair k95 rgb platinum), on the bright side I can get a similar replacement for way cheaper nowadays(corsair k70 rgb pro). But while im at it I wanna upgrade my gpu, ive been running a evga 1070ftw with my i7 7700k since I built this pc in 2017, and as I only really play league of legends there hasnt been too much issue getting along with this. But since this past year idk if riot upgraded something but my system has trouble having me play and watching yt videos on my second monitor. So I wanna know what gpu I can get to "modernize" my pc. Have around $250 budget for the gpu.

It's the safest way to support your GPU. The microvibrations on that fan will eventually loosen that screw holding your GPU.
But it's up to you. If you have the money to replace your GPU when it eventually breaks then keep using it.

Thank you anon. I'm actually highly considering pic related as it's within my budget, there's a small sale (-100$ off) and I got a gift card for 50$ from Samsung this month since it was my birthday. It's looking like the best deal out there right now.

I think RAM prices will go up next year and then start going down ion 2027 unless something happens to fuck prices again. Nvidia announced that they will stop production of some of their cards and lower the production of others due to shortages and those will continue.

As long as it's not one of those things that blows up, then yeah. Those ratings are pretty arbitrary and they test PSUs on the extreme side of things. They never test for practical home usage. A B- is still a good PSU.

This is why you buy a fucking external dock and just buy good quality drives and store them in their original cases in a plastic container.

Or buy quality drives and put them in a quality enclosure with a fucking fan, and make sure they're horizontal unless you're using a dock temporarily.

I want to go for an AIO push/pull config since I have extra fans that came with the case and my temps kinda suck.

>>107659992
push/pull doesn't really offer much benefit on an AIO. The exhaust fans won't really pull more air than what's already being pushed through. Instead, focus on getting as much air into the PC as you can, and have the AIO exhaust through the top of the case. Plus, the standard one exhaust fan at the back.

rad mounts to case with one set of screws, fans mount to rad with another set of screws and the AIO should come with all you need to accomplish install as long as your case already has a cutout of the radiator.

fwiw, the radiator design factors in heavily and that chart is not a one-size-fits-all. The delta T, i.e. change in temperature, increases with fin density far more than thickness of radiator.
