I found a massive pc case with 2 560mm radiators and fans still installed at a rural southern thrift store and bought it for $50. I have no idea how they ended up there or what the previous owner was doing with them, but what components should I use to put them in my current set up? I bought a cheap blyski water block and I'm wondering where to buy the cheapest tubing, fittings, and coolant. Is the barrow stuff on aliexpress good enough? Also, is the alphacool eisball a good pump/reservoir or do I need a stronger pump with such big radiators?

i don't think so. even though my SN8100 drives run within spec when doing day to day stuff without a heatsink, i didn't like the temp spikes when disk intensive stuff like updating or installing stuff. even a simple heatsink is enough to do the job (i used generic Arctic cheap ones).

I understand that latency is an issue compared to their monolithic architecture, but I think that only applies if the scheduler mixes p-cores with e-cores.

Just get a small... even 128gb.... SATA SSD drive for your OS. Cheap and would make it like a brand new PC.
>>
>>107734945
If the cost of upgrading comes to like $120 or something and you know you can do it before any price increase sure why not

nvidia went from 94% to 92% market share. intel gained 1%, from pretty much zero. so amd "gained" 1% against nvidia and intel ate some of amds share.

The 5070 non-ti can't even beat a 4070ti, if you get it for the 4070's sell price then go ahead, otherwise aim for a ti at least.

The factory has thousands of cards to test for stability, if the specification said whatever, they ship with whatever voltage on the spec sheet. They can't just fine tune every card one by one since not all chips can handle the lower voltage without crashing.

Simple, really. When the 4070 was in production, there were no threats of dram shortages. Nvidia wasn't promising to cut production and raise prices. They simply sold cards in the 40 series until about 2 months before CES.

Are there any monitors with dual OLED/IPS modes?

I can personally vouch for the awesomeness of a 5k2k monitor... and I am considering a 5k1440 monitor for my secondary. Just a suggestion- if it's over 32", consider one with a slight curve. Even IPS or OLED, an ultrawide benefits for a little curve.

not if you can find it at msrp it's like $250 more with a lot of OC overhead

the 5080 is about 15% stronger than the 5070 ti. Whether that 15% is worth the price difference or not is up to you
>>
>>107735373
Not anywhere near the issue it was before and during the launch of the 30 series.
>>
>>107735227
Gonna be running on 9800x3D and 5070. Estimated wattage of the system according to PCPartPicker is 544w. Won't be OCing anything. Considering of changing is because of the better Quality of the X series over it's E series.
braided cables too
.

blackwell is already at the optimal v/f curve. you can turn them into budget 5080 or budget 4090 but that also means their power draw now sucks.

Reddit says that the Thermalright X47 copper + 2 exhaust fans setup is as good as using a 240mm AIO. Are they lying? I had a Noctua L9a, albeit worse than the X47, and remember it hitting 90C with the fan noise being very loud.

1200 median, can go higher can go lower, 1000 should be lowest possible and anything below is just Gabe flexing and earning himself an actual sainthood, if market truly shits the bed it can theoretically reach 1.7k but at that point I feel like valve will just shut the cube down.
