It's not really fake frames. Fake frames are when you turn on "natural motion" on TV while watching a 24fps movie. That's post frame, frame generation. DLSS takes into account in-engine parameters before it reconstructs the frames. It's not as black & white.

Fake frames should be treated like a tiny bonus feature at best, not the meat of any card, brand or driver. Being other wise we are headed to more Borderland 4 like issues of hurrr durrr just use more frame gen. Yet even fake frames are slowly going to get ate up by poor performance and bad game optimization. It's also bizarre to dick ride any brand. Most of all Nvidia due to their absolute shitty biz practices. Never mind how stupid it sounds to throw around stats etc off high end cards and gear. When steam hardware shows over 50% are still rocking 1080p and the most popular cards are all 2-3 gen old and way down the product stack.
