>Not sure what private trackers are all about?
A private tracker is an invite-only torrent website. Each member shares common goals: collecting, preserving and discussing media.

>READ THE OP BEFORE MAKING A FUCKING QUESTION YOU RETARDED FAGGOT
>It doesn't matter if you use the same username in different trackers, the staff still share your IP with each other.
>Staff is reading, being /marked/ is not a meme, and even if it is, it isn't.
>Don't ask for invites, it's private for a reason.
>If starting out you should interview for RED, rank to Torrent Master, wait on account age, and get invites from there. THAT'S IT THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO
>Wiki is being actively defaced by neons. Don't rely on it too much until they get bored and move on.

If your piracy needs are being properly met elsewhere don't bother. This thread doesn't exist to shill private trackers. The whole process is a pain in the ass to be completely honest. If you consistently struggle to find what you're looking for or you're obsessed with archiving things in the best quality this is the path to take.

You should, especially because the new movie might release some time this year. I still need to watch S2 but I guess I should just do a full rewatch instead because it's been a while.

Do all you fags on private trackers use seed boxes or what

Building buffer so fkin slow on a 300mbit connection, since you fags always outcompete me

Feels like it's more worth it to just get a seedbox for a month then only seed just to avoid h&r's afterwards
>>
>>107792797
It depends on which trackers you use. I've used both seedboxes and strategic exploitation of tracker mechanics. It helps if you can arbitrage large files that are freeleech on one tracker to seed and collect bonus points on another.
>>
>>107792797
never had a seedbox, and I'm only on 100mbit. I just permaseed and do fine with BP and FL tokens, I still hit the buffer limit from BP on HDB and BHD easily, and have tons on PTP too. RED and BIB can be tougher though
>>
>>107792875
For RED we have options. Most obvious one is spam. You're going to need some buffer there and you'll want to climb the user classes so doing some of that is good. But most popular things on RED you can find the exact same files shared on Soulseek. I share everything I get from RED on there myself. You just go there and look for the same filenames/directory names and download it then cross seed. Other than that OPS is really easy to build shitloads of bonus points and hoard tokens on if you can find huge collections of audio production stuff or just big vinyl/cd boxsets on places like rutracker etc. Another anon here tipped me off to that.
>>
>>107792901
if I needed to rank up past PU on RED for recruitment now I'd definitely be doing that, and would probably be more open to racing with a seedbox for a month or two. Fortunately I've got more than enough buffer on RED and OPS already and a mountain of OPS FL tokens for snatching whatever I want. It really was easier before, and I do feel for the neons. As long as you're connectable and you're seeding a decent amount, the music tracker UL will come, just not very fast

Probably all the anime I've previously downloaded but haven't finished. Currently watching Himouto! Umaru-chan. I've been so busy with work and other things in life that were bringing my mood down that I had forgotten how simple, cute slice-of-life shows are so nice to watch after a day of work. It really makes me appreciate the simple things in life, like those dumb moments spent with friends and family, and the stars in the night sky when returning from a convenience store. Anyone got suggestions for anime to watch with your parents, and/or stories of fun times you've had with them while watching them?

Never used one, don't intend on using it either. All I have is my home connecting and a 1tb hard drive, though I am considering getting more storage. I mainly get buffer by permaseeding my torrents and getting lots of bonus points, and sometimes cross-seeding stuff I can see there are leechers if I can get the files from other places.

There a setting or something I'm missing with qui cross seeding? With the actual cross-seed docker I would get a ton between EMP and BitPorn. Using just qui I get practically nothing. This is probably true for some of my other trackers too, I just particularly noticed it here.

There's only one movie IIRC, but it's not out yet on streaming services/BD that's why I still consider it a new movie.

AoT and Death Note are two I always recommend to normies but you'll know better if your parents would like them.
>>

To add to my previous post, consider checking out these too since they align more with SxF (less drama/negativity):
>Dr. Stone
>Love is war

I guess that Demon Slayer does have some drama, but that's unavoidable with the story. I'd still recommend it because it's a normie-friendly anime.

cross-seed or QUI?
>>
>>107794700
qui because I have multiple qBittorrent instances and qui has better performance compared to the official web-ui.
>>
>>107794713
Is this multiple qbittorrent instances thing a new strategy? When I was setting up my home server/seedbox I didn't read anything about this but in the last few weeks I've been seeing a ton of people bring up this setup.
>>
>>107794743
>strategy
There's no "strategy", simply do what works best for you. I use 2 instances using docker:
>binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn > for public shit and open signup/lower quality PT's like TL or the Z family. As you can see in the name, it has built-in VPN support which is what I want for these torrents.
>linuxserver/qbittorrent > for PT's like AB, PTP, BTN, etc. I'm just rawdogging shit on my 1GB home connection from here.

There are other benefits with multiple instances, like:
>the web-ui can't handle thousands of torrents in a single instance, using a seperate instance for every tracker might solve that issue.
>using a single instance for a single PT can prevent hash collisions (which are rare and will most likely only be an issue if you try to cross-seed everything)
>using a single instance for a single PT allows you to updoot once the tracker has whitelisted the newest version, if one PT doesn't whitelist the newest version for a long time then you'd be stuck on an older version if you use a single instance.
There's probably other reasons to use multiple instances, but that's what I could come up with right now. If you don't have a reason to use multiple instances then simply don't, there's probably also drawbacks like RAM usage and shit.

Do you think the uploader is going to get banned?
top kek
>>
>>107795123
Unless the uploader is retarded and has been warned before, no. If staff actually cares about their community they will first send a PM to the uploader telling them what rule they broke, delete the torrent and leave it at that. If they do it again they should get warned and only after that the user should get their upload privileges revoked. People should be encouraged to upload, not scared to get their account banned because they might make a mistake once. I'm assuming that you're not talking about the user uploading 2d loli or something like that, because in that case the user should instead be promoted to the highest user class right away.

I remember uploading a bunch of stuff to AB once and I forgot to remove some extra stuff (album cover above a certain size, IIRC) in one of the uploads and my torrent was deleted and I received a PM from the torrent moderator stating the reason and nothing else happened. I uploaded the torrent again without the extra stuff and all was good, never did I worry about my account getting banned or something like that and that's how a healthy private tracker should operate. They should however permaban a user in specific scenarios like when a user uploads malware on GGn or RED (for software), but someone uploading something like that is really rare, I assume.
