I got an Iphone 4 laying in my drawer doing nothing. And also a cowon Z2. I never drop my phone and if I do it would be closed when doing so. So durability is literally not an issue. Seeing people still rock the fold 2 makes me believe the newer ones will hold up for years easily. If not I have insurance. The inner screen won't get damaged under normal adult use so I don't have any fears. I remember Mrmobile showing clips of a guy who would smack the inside of his folding phone against things without it breaking. So they are more durable than you would believe

I value being able to just buy battery and replace it easily at home, or have a spare for longer travel for quick swap, more than ultimate resistance for conditions phone is unlikely to be in. Though it's more about keeping device alive after battery dies than quickswapping because powerbanks exist, they are just more time consuming when it comes to charging and take more space than spare battery, but that isn't that big issue.
