when Indians come here on guest worker-visas and have kids, why don't they develop the sense that for the sake of their kids, they should do whatever they can to stop the plundering of US tech jobs so that their kids who are US. Citizens can also enjoy the opportunities too?

Most of them aren't bringing their kids, they come here to send money to their families back home
>>
>>107848294
You missed my point, I said that when temp-workers come here they have kids who receive US Citizenship on birth and grow up in the American system. For the sake of their kids and for the fraud that they have experienced through their own eyes they should be the ones leading the charge against consultant scams and outsourcing in order to build a better future for their kids but this is not the case.

That being said, the ones who bring their kids from India to here are the most cruel of them all. The kids have no legal standing and have a temp-visa also from their parents. They could have spent their entire lives in the US but if their parents get fired and cannot find a job in 60 days they have to go back to India and start life all over.

I was a 4chan loser who tried to fix my life and did a pure math and physics degree at a top 75 state school and graduated in 2022 with a 3.6. I took all the hardcore classes and more. Grad level analysis and algebra, grad level quantum, grad level E&M with Jackson. But I never made a single friend my entire time in college so I didn't figure out the game I needed to play with GPA, kissing professors asses, and research until it was too late. So grad school became out of the question because I knew I would never get in anywhere. One professor who liked me even told me to not even bother applying since I didn't have any REUs on my CV. So then I learned to code and I got decent at it quickly because I'm intelligent in the raw IQ department I guess. Couldn't get a job because that's right when the post pandemic job boom crashed and everything started going to shit. Started leetcoding. But AI and jeets the past few years wiped out my last sliver of a chance. Then I started options trading and lost 10 grand on that too like an idiot. Then I just gave up on life let myself get fat. I live with my parents and am back to where I started except almost a decade older now with nothing to show for it and all I do is doomscroll. I can feel myself aging and dying, and I have zero work experience. Is there any realistic path left for me to have a decent life and career or should I just shoot myself?

are you retarded? they're working for 100x the rate that they would in india.

see i was homeless but now i'm an ai dev. have you tried getting a job

Here is exactly what you do:

1) Enroll into Georgia Tech's online Masters of Computer Science (OMSCS). They have a high acceptance rate but low pass rate, it sounds like you would do well. Since this isnt an academic masters program you dont need any of that other bullshit that you mentioned. It is 100% online and the entire program only costs 5-6k grand

You need three letters of recommendation, reach out to your professors. They dont need to write you a letter they just need to fill out a form that gets emailed to them

The last day to apply to the spring cohort is March I believe so start now

2) Do some research on what classes you want to take by going to the omscs reddit and checking out the course curriculumn

3) While you are in this masters program, apply aggressively to any job that you find and go heavy on government jobs

I think the masters program will be a breeze for you and its a good way to further your education while being able to increase your credentials. For the 4 years gap you are going to have to fraud maxx and come up with something

>when temp-workers come here they have kids who receive US Citizenship on birth and grow up in the American system
Only if they have kids while on US soil (and they do not, Indian men are predominantly creepy incels) and depending on how a Supreme Court ruling is delivered later this year, birthright citizenship is not guaranteed to continue to apply in America.
H-1B visa status does not confer permanent residency, and typically H-1B do not actually apply for US permanent residency (~15,000 residency applications from H-1B holders yearly vs ~580,000 H-1B holders overall), they either return home or they overstay and transition into an illegal immigrant. They have no reason to care about stopping any outsourcing grift or H-1B scamming, as long as they are able to spend up to 6 years legally (sometimes longer illegally) remitting an American paycheck back home. You're essentially asking why a bunch of leeches aren't trying to dismantle the system that enables them to leech.

If you loo at the org chart above you all the way up to and including the CEO, how many are Indian?
For me it's 5 / 7
>>
>>107848454
Zero but I work public sector, so there are a few blacks
>>
>>107848460
Oh man yeah I used to work in government. I was a contractor so not officially part of the org chart, but there were like 8 layers above me to the agency director and I thin 3 were black. One was competent. One was so useless she got reassigned to be in charge of DEI stuff (this was like 10 years ago.)
There was also one really autistic middle aged woman in the chain and she was pretty cool.

thats assuming that they havent bought a giant mansion in a new-construction community and have a mortage that they are putting most of their money into. for some reason Indians love new-construction homes. Indians are only sending a small fraction of the money overseas, the rest is spent buying assets in America because they intend to stay here forever

>>107848446
plenty of h1bs have kids here and at a scale which is enough to tilt the demographics in many towns. Take a look at places like Frisco, Texas. All of the elementary schools in this town are now majority "Asian", which means Indian. you should assume that almost every h1b has had a kid here which qualifies them for citizenship in the future through sponsorship. that is how they feel comfortable enough to buy large houses and property in new construction neighborhoods. if the supreme court changes this, it will be for the better

that being said and as I just mentioned, many many people on h1 visas have kids here who are US citizens and they have all intention to raise their kids here. for their futures it bewilders me as to why they dont take a more aggresive stance in protecting the US labor market so that their children can also prosper here
>>
>>107848517
That would make sense why they aren't actually applying for a green card yet, because they could be denied and having an anchor baby is like Disney FastPass for immigration. I suppose it's easy to forget not every Indian H-1B is living 12 to a room in a San Francisco apartment and can actually buy a family home.
Imagine the fire sale if birthright citizenship gets overturned though.
>>
>>107848549
The only reason that more Indians have not applied for green-cards is because the employers they work for have not processed their application (PERM process) yet. Otherwise every H1b would have already filed for a green-card. It is not that h1bs are not filing a green-card because they dont want to it is because companies are hesitant to file because once an h1b has their green-card application approved they can immediately hop to a different company. why give your slave more rights than what is needed?

I landed a remote Android dev job about 3 months ago. The work is super chill and there’s a ton of downtime, so I usually just play games or do nothing. Lately I’ve been thinking about trying to get a second job, any tips? I’ve got around 2 YOE, not counting this one.

I'm not a 'murrican or eurobro tho so any pay is fine for me I think

/twg/ being TRUTH NUKING begins NOW.

The man who has fully understood the theory of complete irresponsibility (the following aphorism) can no longer include the so-called justice that punishes and rewards within the concept of justice, if that consists in giving each his due. For the man who is punished does not deserve the punishment: he is only being used as the means to frighten others away from certain future actions; likewise, the man who is rewarded does not deserve this reward; he could not act other than as he did. Thus a reward means only an encouragement, for him and others, to provide a motive for subsequent actions: praise is shouted to the runner on the track not to the one who has reached the finish line. Neither punishment nor reward are due to anyone as his; they are given to him because it is useful, without his justly having any claims on them. One must say, "The wise man rewards not because men have acted rightly," just as it was said, "The wise man punishes not because men have acted badly, but so they will not act badly." If we were to dispense with punishment and reward, we would lose the strongest motives driving men away from certain actions and toward other actions; the advantage of man requires that they continue; and in that punishment and reward, blame and praise affect vanity most acutely, the same advantage also requires that vanity continue.
