based, jdm shit is wicked
for awhile i considered some denons, but found out a lot of it was made in china and even resale it was too high to ever justify.
even forum posters from 2008-2010 were noticing the issues from the chinese models, guessed we havn't come very far kek

Think Fostex's new stuff is still Jap made, but I've heard mixed things. The classic TH900s are still bangers though.

ETA Uli (hopefully soon, I'm gone all of February so if they ship then I'll be super owned).
For actual affordable shit, Verums are good but you're gambling on warranty with a schizo Ukranian prone to crashouts. For wireless 630s seem to be mogging everything else in that market.

>2.4ghz wireless gaming headset/earbuds
Looking for a headset for a friend to use with a docked steamdeck. Annoyingly the steamdeck doesn't really support the mic input over bluetooth so looking for a wireless headset or earbuds that uses 2.4ghz, preferably with a USB A dongle to connect to the steam deck dock

Thanks, I appreciate the suggestions. For this person I don't think quality is that much of a concern, they just want something to play friendslop games on.

I wear these fucking things because, even though they're dog shit, they're the only fucking things I've ever found that my autistic ass can tolerate wearing for extended periods. I hate buds. When the band goes over the top of my head it digs in. I want something better quality but I can't compromise much on the form factor. What options do I realistically have?
>>
>>107855504
i concede, they really do exist. thank you so much anon.
how did you find them? a database with filters?

Capra headband on 6xx headphones. Do the metal bending trick to make them looser too. Now your 6xx cans won't clamp you to death.
>>
Can we have a list of all amps that have blown up headphones
I know one of the Schiits did it
>>
>>107855865
Schiit Asgard one in like 2016 lol, since then its been nothing but Topping slop lighting shit up. At least this time Topping are telling DX5II fags they'll cover headphone repairs, but who knows if they'll go through with it. They didnt with an L30.
>>
>>107855517
try Koss KPH40, seriously
otherwise yeah, go with headphones with a metal headband that can be bent to fit your head shape, and maybe have a suspension strap, and better yet weigh less than 300g

lol we don't care about you morons. Speakerchads will never post in your trash threads.

sorry you feel that way althoughbeit

no speaker-related posts in your thread, moron haha
>>

Why troll a niche enthusiast general? This place barely stays alive oftentimes it's dead for weeks. If someone wants to talk about speakers more power to them. I wish we could combine with IEM gen so at least I can know there is a place to go to talk to about sound stuff any time.

>Why troll a niche enthusiast general?
This thread was /hpg/ until you started trying to force speakers in this thread. This helped kill off the actual speaker thread /hifi/+/sg/ which actually had speaker discussion.

You don't own speakers, you don't know anything about speakers, you're a worthless pissant moron.

>looking for
Im looking for wireless headphones to listen to music with while walking/exercising. good noise cancelling is definitely a must for me + high sound quality ofc. It’d be good if it also had a decent-good microphone (an in-built one not the kind on gaming headsets)
I have no preference between over the head headphones and in ear headphones.
>previous gear and thoughts
I currently have a pair of Sony XM4’s that I purchased in 2022, i like their design, audio quality, battery life, and noise cancelling features. My only qualm is that the microphone is garbage and the touch control panel is really annoying. Although i was able to disable that in the app. Also, i wear glasses and find that while wearing them the headphones cause the band to dig into my head uncomfortably, altho this is less prevalent on my xm4’s, something more glasses comptaible would be nice.

Previously I had a pair of airpods (one of the earliest gens) i have a weird ear shape so theyd fall out sometimes but overall they were okay. I didnt like how quickly the battery died though + the audio quality was lowk ass + they had no noise cancelling and the audio leaked on occasion.

If anyone can help it’d be greatly appreciated!!
