sirs, I need opnions on how to lie on my cv.

I have 8 yoe, work with java, spring, aws, kafka, kubernetes, oauth2, sql/nosql, know how to use splunk... the typical microservices/cloud env but not uber level of microservices. Never ever needed to use graphql or any advance concepts of nosql DBs. All the places i worked so far were mostly about secure integration of services and pod performance.

Now, im looking for a job and it seems all job listings are bloated and i cant properly guess what i need to learn next. I see java+golang , java+kotlin, java+node backend jobs. My last interview was asking for java, flask, nodejs, like wtf?

Im planning to spend the next 6mo learning a new tech. I dont know if golang or kotlin will make it easier to get a job.

Anon who was asking about getting an associates degree last thread.

Still thinking about it, but I took a look at the syllabi for the courses.

Any course that's a specific programming language seems very surface level and like it covers the same concepts but for different languages. Variables, pointers, recursion, objects/classes, functions, loops, objects and classes, except like it's multiple different courses to cover that in C, C##, Java, Python, and probably Javascript too. There is some stuff on like PowerBI, SQL, Data Structures, and PHP, but idek bros.

I think some IT classes could help in getting a like junior sysadmin position or something. This is the "cybersecurity" degree at the school I'm thinking of. I don't think you could get a full of cybersecurity $100k/yr job like is pushed by seemingly everyone, but I do think learning Unix and AD would help in a sysadmin job.

I will say cybersecurity is the biggest meme of all. Schools and youtubers and seemingly everyone pushes "learn cybersecurity in 6 months and get this $100k/year job!!!" Anon's, does this get any better if you go past support? I was a Technical Support Engineer for some software company. Thankfully, it dealt with a lot of DevOp's technologies so a transition would be "easy". But this shit burned me out pretty hard that I don't have much hope.

well, I guess I'll share my store. I've worked for about 5 years at my current corporate job. what burned me out wasn't the work itself (though my load has actually increased over time), but the fact that these retards have been firing coworkers that I would never thought they would fire, and while my current coworkers aren't bad (though they are much younger), in other areas they've been hiring a bunch of absolute retards to replace the people they fired since a couple of years ago.
they also fired people while I was in the process of finding a house to buy. all of this left me very fucking stressed and tired, and a bad taste in the mouth. like, there is no reasoning behind most of the firing except the excuse of "going through bad times" (which is bs, like all the other internal politics bs that goes on), which is why I'm looking for a job with more "predictable", or at least less traitorious management. I know it sounds retarded (one shouldn't expect "loyalty" from capitalists and their drones), but psychologically, a change would help me, I think
