Imagine not building your PC to account for summer temperatures of 35-40C indoors by going for mesh only cases, liquid coolers, de-shrouded GPUs or large dual-fan GPUs, as opposed to cases with HDD/ODD bays and restricted air intake/exhaust, using a puny dual-tower air cooler with loud fans, and puny 85mm fans on your GPU making noise.

Embrace 140mm-200mm German brand case fans, 240, 360, or 420mm AIOs, and a high airflow mesh case, prolong the lifespan of your components, run your fans at lower RPMs, reduce noise. Be quiet!

Oh, and buy a keyboard with silent switches and dampening.

I have no idea, since 2015 the summers in my Eastern European backwater have been grueling especially since the top floor of the house is under a metal roof, so all that heat from the brown metal roofs seeps into this room. It is probably the hottest room in the house, my room. In the winter, it becomes the coldest.

Maybe I made a mistake not moving downstairs even if it was more claustrophobic, especially concerning how much productivity time I lost from just being dizzy during the day.

Points for consistency on MSI's part, both screws snapped clean at the EXACT same point in the standoff, it seems pushing them downwards while screwing is what causes them to break.

I used an intact screw from a neighboring standoff to try and then superglue the end in the hopes it might come out, but nope. Now I'm down another screw and the standoff is now full of both half-threads. Somehow I am not surprised.

I have no fucking idea what to do at this point to try and save this GPU.

I use similar - Harman Kardon Luna. It was like 100 eur or smth, bluetooth speaker. Yep, it is pretty valid and minimalistic in terms of wires. Mine is just perma plugged into the back of the monitor for charging.

Anon I did not listen you your .wav but if you are getting digital noise the problems can stem from many sources. Maybe try:

-no overclocking anything
-unplug not needed devices from USB
-??

Post your OS, system specs, and the software you are using to rip - maybe anons can help.

Is there a quality desk chair I can get for 100 bucks or less? Or should I just by the cheapest mesh thing I can find on amazon? I want to upgrade from my folding chair so my ass doesn't hurt anymore but I also don't want to spend bookoo bucks on some fag chair
>>
>>108139582
You could have built a nice PC last year. Why didn't you?
Some crazy shit was definitely expected to happen. Chyina invading Taiwan or another "Pandemic" or whatever. It turned out to be the "AI" hype. I bought as much hardware as I could when it was cheap. Even stuff I knew I wouldn't need for a while because prices would only climb in the long run. If you didn't buy last year you were not smart. You could have borrowed the money if you didn't have it. There is no excuse.

Why would you? The only reason people are upgrading now is because of FOMO that they might not be able ever again. People were fine going on with their life because there will always be something better next year.

>>
>>108140091
> Why would you?
As I said. Geopolitical tensions were rising. GPU prices already indicated that the "old rules" no longer apply (hardware only getting cheaper). Buying PC hardware was the best investment you could make if you wanted a PC or knew that you would want a fast PC in the near future. Don't tell me you couldn't know this. Strategic thinking pays off.

No. Bluetooth is shit. Those speakers will often try to connect to computers in communication mode as well, giving you mono output because the second channel gets used for the microphone. They usually also go mono if you use an aux input. Just buy ACTUAL computer speakers.

Getting a 9800X3D and then a 9070XT is a weird mix.
Why get a high-end CPU then pair it with a mid-range GPU?

Same with 4TB SSD. You're going to spend $550+ on storage, and then get a 9070XT?

I bought a used Steelcase chair from a local office supply reseller - they sell stuff like used cubicles and stuff if you can find one, the one I bought from also had old (empty) server racks. The downside is that they expect you to pick up your purchase if you don't want to get ripped off on delivery charges.

You got it from a system integrator I'm guessing?
AliExpress Special?

Should be fine. It looks superficial. These are "New" in that they're stock that's been sold to a company that puts computers together. (Or claims to.)
And part of that process is that they're tested, and that can l mean they have a little bit of paste or scratching on the top.
Apparently stuff that goes to system integrators tends to be less cosmetically perfect because whoever ends up buying the PC is probably never going to see it, where as one that comes from the shelf is going to be more closely examined by the buyer. But, that seems like an extra step of quality control that I don't know if anyone would bother with.

Name a good mesh case that's within the budget area of a Pure Base 600 but actually has good airflow while keeping the same quality of life features, build quality, and dampening so it doesn't buzz while idle. I have no interest in glass panels.

>static pressure fans do better when behind something
Does that apply to pushing and pulling air?
Or only to pushing?

Sorry, I should clarify I'm not the guy who was originally asking, but am interested in the topic as currently trying to figure out a plan for how to keep a 5090 cool inside a Cooler Master Frame 400; and after several tries/captchas 4chan still wont let me directly upload the fucking image, so here's a direct link:
https://a.storyblok.com/f/281110/2400x2400/9ec617f6ed/masterframe-400-mesh_img-05-3.png

I've read Noctua's guide- https://www.noctua.at/en/support/faqs/airflow-guide-next-steps on where to position the fans, but they didn't touch on whether static pressure <=> airflow for building positive pressure inside a case when dealing with limited/obstructed intakes (which in a roundabout way kind of supports >>108139916's theory).
>>
>>108140612

Get a grip you filthy kike. It's the most fragile and important part of your computer, the warranty on a new AMD CPU is the gold standard, and you're buying mystery components to save a couple hours of a recent mid tier liberal arts college graduate's wages.

Honest question, really. I've never really sat in a "nice" chair because I mostly work in the field or out of expedient offices and I've never really had a problem with the cum stained cheapo crap that I've lived in. Tbh I don't even hate my folding chair it's just starting to bow and break.
>>
>>108140737
static pressure operates best when pushing while non static operates best as pulling.
>>
Why do they make GPUs with coolers that have such small fans? 85mm diameter fans when we could easily have 110-115mm diameter fans (aka 120mm fans) fit inside most cases. Is it because of case airflow?

Build quality, warranty, and adjustability. Everybody will have a different idea of "comfortable" but these are just things I've noticed after sitting on chairs for decades. To be clear, I wouldn't suggest the hon at retail price, but it regularly dips below 400.
>>

What's the best 5070 model you can buy without being overly expensive? I just care about cool temps and a quiet fan really. I'll be undervolting and overclocking because it'll primarily be used in a TV PC for 4k (dlss) so I need max performance but also quiet operation.
