XFS would be simple but I've been testing ZFS in a VM and I like it more but I wonder if it's a problem that's gonna brew over time if the zpool needs some kind of management or if some gentoo upgrade may break it (I don't know why though, gentoo shouldn't care about my filesystem AFAIK)

>>
>>108188758
probably a mismatch between qt and gtk themes. some applications are build with gtk and cant inherit your kde styling
>>
>>108188836
Figured it wouldn't be unusual to >>108188689 if that were the case. Is there a specific theme or setting that would make the styling match?
>>
>>108188912
well assuming that by controls anon meant the buttons in your titlebar and the titlebar itself, then that is part of the styling controlled by your theme settings. kde uses qt for all its native applications, and firefox is build with gtk3. so if you never set a gtk theme then firefox is just using the default, probably adwaita. there isnt really a setting to get consistent themeing between the two engines, so if you want consistency you would need to use a theme that has both a qt and a gtk version
>>
>>108188912
>>108188972
oh i didnt see the browser was brave. in brave you can actually switch between what theme engine it uses. you can just go into settings and switch to qt i think
>>

All your personality is based on tranny porn and gooner memes, which makes me wonder if you're actually transitioning out of a fetish and not due to true gender dysphoria. And if being trans is just a part of you, and that must be accepted by others, why do you need to make it your whole personality Elliot?

checked. you mean as in more saturated or lighter? it's already more saturated than the purple i think it's because it's cyan/turqoise that it seems more gray than it is by relation to the orange and the purple. they seem to bleed a lot worse if i saturate either one too much.

Turning up the green in the megenta color used int he terminal for the title in your fetch should make it greyer, so less saturated.

yes but not in the rpograms shown here
the about dialog and virtual desktop is e16's own toolkit (no idea what it is i dont think its efl)
gvim here is motif

>i thought about using some of the old gtk2 engines like thinice or similar
you can use lxappearance to use them

>but wonder how much work it is to force applications to use it
you cant force gtk3/4 programs to use gtk2

>>
>>108202993
rightclick the empty desktop icon, go on properties and click on the empty icon, then choose the desired one
>>
>>108203002
Nah i mean like tor browser for example you have to run from
```
./start-tor-browser
```

How did you make this a desktop app basically. I tried myself and just gave up.
>>
>>108203013
how did you install it? i installed it via
apt install torbrowser-launcher

it came with a desktop icon. just needed to search it in menu and rightclick it to create the desktop icon
>>

oh okay i installed it from the website using the tar file.

always prefer the software from your distros package manager.

why? also the search for software is garbage everytime i run apt-cache i never find what im looking for.

then use the software center integrated into cinnamon?

true
Also i found where to find the settings.

right click task bar -> panel -> panel preferences -> row size

right click desktop -> desktop settings -> icons -> icon sizes what are yours?
>>

dependencies, you can upgrade via package manager, also it's suited for your distro

look up redmond97. it's a gtk3 windows 9x theme and it comes with a lot of different color schemes. i'm using a gtk3 version of bluecurve widgets. i'm also using oxygen icons. i avoid fancy icon sets like the haiku or windows 9x ones, because they never cover everything completely and it ends up looking out of place
