Alright, no more shitty fans (anything other than Noctua or be quiet! presumably), this better be worth it for $30. I considered getting the NF-A14 but the acoustics seemed bad on video.

I'm fresh out of 140mm fans after strapping my P14 Pro and Mistral to my GPU, so if this is the only 140mm fan I'll be using in a case for now it might as well be this. Rest will be two or three NF-A20's if I can straighten out the mobo tray.

Both AMD and Intel tend to have long term guarantees of certain parts for a number of years long after they are relevant for consumers.

I have a HAF 932 Advanced, which is why I sought out 200mm Noctua fans for the best noise to airflow ratio and acoustics in that space. They move twice the air a 140mm SW4 does at the same air pressure, though they are supposedly 18db vs 13.6 db at 800 rpm which led me to wonder if they could update this fan to get more out of it.

My assumption as well, though these fans with the amount of air they move at full speed for the price seem like a good fit for a roomy, noise dampened full tower if the air pressure is not too weak.

Why the delay isn't pushing to 2030
While things look grim for gamers right now, there are three reasons why 2030 is unlikely:

First time I'll ever buy a pre-built, I've been building PCs every few years since I built my first one in 2005 when I was in high school. Last one I build was in 2021, RTX 3080 build. I do want something better though, my 3080 is not as capable at modern games as I'd like it to be.

Tar scrubber here, the day I posted that I went through all 8 panels with Nevo balm washing up liquid before I found the E500 oetker soda and the pack of citric acid, which we use to clean the sink and kettle by combining them into a paste with boiling water.

Considering half of the panels didn't get as thorough of a scrub and rinse with steamy hot water, I will try the paste on one just to be sure since it sudded a lot with the dish washing fluid. The paint is stripped anyway.

The rest I had intended to pour some acetone or IPA on key spots like the mesh and scrub/wipe just to be sure, if the dropping liquid was clear I'd take it as confirmation it was clean enough for painting. Paint was already chipped or stripped in some spots anyway.

Also, I had to use IPA to wick and loosen the motherboard standoffs, couldn't get F out since it would stay loose but could not rotate out left or right, so I kept that one.

The more pressing matter will be if I can fix the bend, so tommorow after it vents some I'll give it a smell and see how it screws and nuts together with M3's. The first batch which were scrubbed more with acetone on a toothbrush or dipped followed by the long dish washing seem to bear a very weak smell indistinguishable from the paint or metal, though my CM Force 500 panel as a control indicates it should be odorless so I might risk the acidic soda scrub one more time before sanding off the powder coat, just hoping it wont leave it vulnerable to rust since it may break down the protective zinc layer for all I know.

Progress does seem to be happening though. Surface is already noticeably nicer to the touch and smell.

2. Rinse with hot water after it's been soaking for an hour - loosens things up

Good news, M4 screws on a GPU heatsink can work. Bad news is the PCB flex gets revealed by the mounting pressure. Also, no telling how screwing out might cause the rings on the PCB to shear loose.

The thermal putty remains ever suctioned and sticky even during dry application with no thermal paste just to test this.

I got the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCDS for 700$ on B&H.

It's not paint, it's the literal polymer base that needs to be tweaked for colors. Different colors or dyes can introduce different mechanical engineering characteristics that influence stability and also plastic longevity.
