Everything is already from China, but here we discuss the cheap chink shit you see on various sites.

First I bought k240 studio, one cup stopped transmitting sound after a year
Then I bought HAYLOU S35 ANC, battery started dying after a year, as well as one cup getting quieter than the other one.
Is there ANYTHING that will actually last me for more than a year at that price point?
This is about headphones btw.

Finally got around to fixing my cat6 cable with these toolless plugs.
It was hell, took literally an hour each side. This thing fools you into thinking you only need a pair of scissors and pliers, but the random one you likely have lying around would absolutely SUCK for this application.
The whole thing was just fiddly as hell. The cap keeps flapping about getting in the way while I was trying to align the cable.

tldr just get an actual crimper, completely pointless fucking product

as promised my chink KTC H27T27 27" 1440p 100hz monitor arrived today. in short everything works fine, no dead pixels so far, some stuff i noticed
>24" to 27" really isn't that noticeable

>colors look fine out of the box, i have no qualms about it and no desire to tweak it by myself
>stand is shit but it's not an issue for me
>i do not have enough desk space for this shit
a bit disappointed because a lot of reviews mentioned 120hz overclock mode, which is missing in my unit (mine doesn't have "KTC" written on it, just their new logo). i think some older revisions had a bug (feature) or a better panel, i tried overclocking it, but it shits itself even at 101hz. i have another very old 144hz tn monitor, so it's a downgrade in that aspect, but i don't play vidya anymore so i'll probably keep using this.
i got it for €69 (under $80 in freedom dollars), so it's an alright buy i guess? anything comparable locally would be twice as expensive and considering i was looking for another monitor for work i think it's worth it. if you feel getting something a little bit better there are 210hz 1440p monitors (with a better stand) from KTC, but they are also $140 or more

Just the Dualsense for all of that criteria.
>motion controls and touchpad
There's a cheap OEM model that's essentially an Xbox Series sized DS4 with two back buttons with a bunch of different rebrands (Fantech Nova Pro, IINE Bastet, some others I forget). $30 normally, I used to see them as cheap as $12 with coins but haven't in awhile. Sticks and buttons feel cheap but it's pretty packed for the price. Also has an audio jack, not sure if mic is supported. Don't remember if I ever used its gyro.
Touchpads in general are rare on chink controllers and most of the ones that do have one just consider it a mouse.

>>108487137

Hi /csg/
I'm looking to buy a chinesium mini pc, and I've been lurking many brands (mostly Beelink, Geekom, GMKtec, and Minisforum).
Fucking around I found out it seems Geekom is the one marketing itself the most on "long-termism," [1] like they wannabe ThinkPads of chink mini PCs brands. Even they made a video supposedly torturing one in the usual China fashion [2].
Is this legit or am I being bamboozled? Outside their dubious marketing, I've seen good comments regarding the construction and 3-year warranty (ok, probably poitless), and bad critics regarding their components choices that missed QA (like buggy Realtek wifi cards they shipped onsome units). Onions?

Saw this torch at Costco, it's 40 AUD, wondering if it's good? I want to go to the caves on Friday and might be good to have a torch, only thing I don't like is how huge it is. Can you normally get 7000 lumens in a smaller package?
>>
>>108489793
my trading212 card doesnt care
>>
>>108490320
MOAR LUMENS has diminishing returns after a few hundred unless you have a really specific need. There are other factors, but basically quadruple lumens to get double the brightness you see.

>Can you normally get 7000 lumens in a smaller package
Consider that your average overhead LED shop light is somewhere around 5000. The rating on the box is probably just a lie. It's not too hard to get 1000 out of a light with a single 18650 though. How long it can maintain the output before getting too hot and lowering it is usually the question.

The lights in your picture are essentially a typical cheap convex lens zoomie flashlight, only bigger. It'll have a uniform round flood that can be focused into a smaller round spot.

If you want a flashlight right now that you can buy in a store it's probably okay, but you could probably get something much nicer for the same or less online. I don't know what other kind of retail stuff you guys have out there to say if there's something better you could pick up in person.
>>
>>108490320
Don't need anything super bright for a cave. Your regular 200lm torch will be fine for seeing your way around and not blinding you. A wider field spread would probably be ideal but that would likely be bulky.

>>108490873
Australian and a big retailer means the 7000 lumens would likely be accurate.

It's really easy to game that sort of thing. FL1 only requires full output for the first 30 seconds on fresh batteries after which it can drop to 10% of that for the rest of the runtime.

I'm not saying it isn't bright. The rechargeable also seems to be pretty beefy. It's just that IRL it's probably significantly less than the label MOST of the time. Which is fine because you'd probably want it on the lower settings most of the time anyway.

And going back to my note on lumens, 7000 is only twice as bright as 1750, which is twice as bright as ~440, etc.
