Literally broken, the screen is supposed to provide as much brightness as the signal going into it demands and your OS should not demand fucking 1600 nits when reverse tonemapping SDR content (a website) into HDR. I don't know what you're using but I've had HDR screens for years and I've used W10, W11 and various Linux flavors (with KDE) and not a single time has this happened, it shouldn't do that. The only time I've ever seen any of the monitors I've used actually run the backlight at full brightness is during the calibration wizard in W11 or in the calibration screens of certain games. That's it.

If you're getting 1600 nits viewing a white website then something is very broken, I don't know whether the software on the PC side or your monitor's firmware somehow.

If your desk can accommodate an LCD (for work, browsing) + OLED (entertainment), this has been the best set up for a while.
If you don't want to deal with burn in, just buy an IPS or VA depending on how much you value contrast vs. motion clarity.
If you're actually good at competitive shooters, TN is also an option if you don't want OLED.
Buy miniLED if you want to try out HDR and if you don't want to deal with burn in. But this is a hate it or love it purchase.

Purchase displays from a store with good/great return policy.
You don't know whether these displays could cause eye fatigue and other issues unless you've used them for a while.

You're going to be better off with a higher quality screen with a better image (higher DPI) and making up the perf difference with more DLSS. Even DLSS Performance (1080p on a 2160p screen) is usable on a high res screen. On low res screens you can't use it as aggressively because the rendering resolution drops too low and on top of that the screen has a worse image so the image just turns into mush.

Keep in mind that at 1440p even DLSS Quality is like 960p, DLSS Performance on a 4k screen will get you superior image quality to that and if you want to run 1440p native then you can just use DLSS Quality on the 4k monitor instead. I don't think there's much reason nowadays to get a low res monitor, you'll suffer more from the low DPI and if you end up using DLSS at all it's going to be worse than the 4k screen for sure.

depends on what your specific real world performance is. Gaming? Minimal because the 2nd 3D memory cache is on the 2nd die in the CPU. Games don't really utilize all 8c16t as is let alone crossing over a CCX to utilize a secondary 8c16t node on the same CPU die. Probably, but it's kind of interesting. Obviously the extra cache being on the other CCD is worse than having it all together but I wonder whether there will be some scenarios where having game threads separated across CCDs to get more cache as opposed to all on 1 CCD but with more cache pressure and as such more actual memory reads (which are extremely slow).
