i just saw some anon talking about the fact that i should have been archiving the web for years now, given the fact that google has upgraded their recaptcha to require that you have a certified goyphone in order to pass itwhat exactly would you archive if you knew the web is going to become a walled garden in the next couple of years?
>>108799919Archive anything that is of entertainment value to you. All the social media sites will still be kicking as well as Wikipedia. I'm already starting to migrate my activities off the internet since all the media companies filled it with slop. By this time next decade, you'll only be able to reach my by amateur radio or carrier pidgeon.
I'd do nothin bc some tranny or foreigner already did it and I'll just download that

>>108799919There's nothing in the web worth saving
>>108799919Anon was right you're waaaaay too late. Anything of value has already been mostly scrubbed off of the internet.
>>108800449>Anything of value has already been mostly scrubbed off of the internet.this but unironically
i have recorded all happenings. assassinations, war footage, etc. that shit becomes unfindable as soon as it leaves the zeitgeist. anything that rides the line of being illegal. i could imagine a reality where all piracy related sites disappear. it's a shame that things are how they are. it really doesn't have to be this way but it won't fix itself.
