CPUs don't really do that sort of exploding these days. It will simply run at whatever clocks it can while sitting at tjmax and that is your performance. they are likely using an MoE model which is basically just 100 8gb models combined into one, so the model should be able to run at at least 5 tokens per second or better depending on the size per expert.
But many custom merges will tell you exactly which expert they use, and if you knew your task is very specific to one model, you would get better results since that 8gb model usually has a much larger model associated with it which is usually much better (depending on the task), but a 70b model at 64gb it would be horrifically slow.

I think maybe this is a problem of neo-modern gaming rigs, where many different upgrades can impact the usability of the system.
Like, 1080p monitors were the only choice outside of 720p buisness monitors for like 10 years. You didn't have the issue of going 2/4k assfucking your GPU's total workload because you just got a 27" monitor instead of a 24". Intel CPUs for 8 generations were basically the same, so "CPU bottlenecking" wasn't a thing. GPUs pulled a max of 300W and CPUs a max of 120W for about the same time period, so a 750W PSU set you for life.

These modern upgrades are what cause this issue, so I consneed that going forward it will only get harder to upgrade piecemeal. I just know that for my teens and 20s I could swap shit out like a ship of Thesus and have basically no issues.

The liquid freezer III are extremely loud.

Get the be quiet! Pure Loop 3 280mm.
Not only is it near silent, it also cools better than the liquid freezer III. You can also refill the Pure Loop 3 if it ever runs low on water.

I would also suggest upgrading the fans with the be quiet! Silent Wings 4 Pro. But only if you want to min/max temps. They are like 3C cooler than the base fans.

Not within practical means. You could probably look for transmission rads that about the right size and weld brackes to fit standard fan/case mounts, but that's gonna require a bit of DIY. Not to mention the pump or cpu mount.

If you're comparing different fan designs and sizes RPM is ancillary. You want to know how much air is moving over the surface area of the radiator, because that is what directly influences cooling. You could spin a 80mm fan at 10,000 RPM but it ain't gonna move as much air as a 140mm moving at 1000RPM.

Dust is unavoidable and your config will not change the volume of dust, it will just direct it to certain places. You normally want to intake over a mesh filter so you clean the filter instead of the fans, but a deep clean will still be needed every year or two at a minimum.

No. Intakes all over, and even worse, intakes from the top and rear fighting against front intakes will just add turbulence and lower your cooling performance. You want a laminar airflow that is directed over the hottest parts of your PC and out as quickly as possible which is achieved through slight postiive pressure. If you use a CPU air cooler your hottest part will be the heatsink, if you use an AIO it will be the rad which is normally front or top mounted.

Actually, you're right. I forgot that my one exhaust fan is the one in the back. I have two fans on the top and three fans in the front. So 6 fans total. With 5 intakes and 1 exhaust.

It seems to work pretty well, because my 9850X3D only gets up to 70C under 100% load. It's rated to run at 90C for normal use.

Outside of aliexpress AIOs your pump should be able to maintain adequate water pressure and that's about it. Even 360mm rads aren't holding insane amounts of water that need to be cycled into a reservoir. If you move the water too fast it doesn't get the time at the fins it needs.
If you're talking reliability then ditto but most AIs conk out in 3-5 years so the difference is marginal.

BenQ EL2870U (3840x2160@60Hz)
LG ULTRAGEAR (1920x1080@144Hz)

I use the LG smaller one as my main monitor for gaming or watching stuff since it has better quality, but I'd like to swap out the BenQ one for one that's just better in general but still within a certain budget.

HDMI is incumbent on TVs as it got there first when we had the shift from analog to digital as it were. PCs naturally were still something (at that time) you didn't plug into a TV and had vastly different needs for scaling hence why displayport took off. It has only been the last decade where the line between what you plug a pc into and what everything else plugs into has blurred which has radically shifted what ports people want on their devices.

Aye. I thank my 1700X system for giving up the ghost when it did. I don't build a new system until my existing system dies, usually, and the 1700X was chugging along, compiling portage updates and playing games on a 6650 just fine. The 1700X was showing its age when compared to newer stuff, but I had no real *need* for anything better. Until it died and saved me a lot of cash by doing so! I don't win terribly many bets so it feels good to win a bet that was forced by my own hardware.

Hell, that 1700X system was a replacement for a 3570K system. I had built other things between the 3570K and 1700X, but ended up selling (donating) them to friends. When the 3570K died and I learned that AMD was back in business (fuck Intel's shady business practices), I went zen all the way, despite wariness of a completely new product. Glad I did.

How safe am I here as far as compatibility goes? It says the mobo might need a BIOS update but the board has been around for 3-4 years, should it come with an updated BIOS off the hop?

Also does anyone have any experience with the Century II? I know it's well rated, I've check the PSU tier list, but I still don't trust it, the price seems too good to be true.

As long as the card gets all 16 lanes there is no difference for a 9070xt between pcie 4 or 5 - the card simply isn't that bandwidth hungry. A 5090 barely sees a difference.

The 850w is the exact same price and I'd be operating at like 57% vs 71%. 500-550w is almost peak efficiency for the 1050w but the 850w starts to taper off a bit before that point. It's also cheaper to get the Century II 1050w than to get the rm750e or the A850GL. Century II is 115 with Newegg combo deal, A850GL is 145, rm750e is 145, A750GL is 130. Not going with a Thermaltake since my last one blew so this is quite literally my cheapest option

My options are either 850-950$ for the 5070, 900-950$ for a 9070, 1000-1100$ for the 9070 XT, or 1300-1400$ for the 5070 Ti. Prices fucking suck ass up here.

Possible explanations are that 420s are actually physically longer than 420mm, since that number is calculated off 140x3 yet the AIO's radiator has that bit sticking out beyond the fans for the tubes to come out of. There's also the possibility that the ceiling is too low or the mount is not offset far away enough for an AIO to clear the top of the motherboard.
