Undertale had a budget of $50k and made 50-60M. Toby is comfortable for life.

But revenue is not everything. The reviews are much more telling on how culturally relevant, foundational and well-liked those games are. How well they stood the test of time, if you will.

I tried it on an rtx 5070 and a ryzen 5600, I was getting under 150 fps, the gpu wasn't even maxed out, it was at 70-80% which is still a lot for how the game looks, but my cpu was at 1-3% which is almost close to idle.
I don't know why it didn't make use of the entirety of my gpu, I don't know why it runs as badly or worse than unreal engine 5 games with lumen, but it's summer and I won't be dying of heat generated by my gpu playing his shitty demo.
I don't hate jblow but he really fucked the performance, if you look at interviews with him he didn't even do the graphics code, just the gameplay code so idk.
