Worse yet, $1000 CAD on one??? Maybe if that shit was $600-700 CAD but fucking a grand? You could easily get a 5070 for that and it'd wipe the floor with it.

It's a specialised GPU core that enables mixed-precision computing.
The software is DLSS, the actual hardware that the software makes use of are physical hardware on the board itself.

But the long and short of it is that they're just extra cores for specialised calculations that convention hardware accelerators struggle with.

"One of these is DLSS", except both are DLSS, one is DLAA, the other is some lower quality mode.

I also never said they both looked the same. I read your post, did not look at the image at all before my last post and concluded that you're a retard, but it turns out you were just a liar.

No, I did not forget that. I lack faith in your ability to follow instructions when you said "which of these is DLSS" after reading a post that said "DLAA is a form of DLSS that's named differently". The answer to your question "which is DLSS" if one of them is DLAA and the other one is DLSS quality, balanced or some other is "both".

Both are DLSS. Bottom is DLAA. And that game doesn't look very nice in screenshots.

DLAA is just a fancy version of TAA, and it's not even sort of the same as DLSS.

Just admit you couldn't tell which one was DLSS because they both looked almost exactly the same. You thought that DLAA would give native even more of an advantage, and even then you still couldn't tell.

I've been thinking of getting an OLED monitor for the past few days because they've been heavily discounted lately. But still not decided if it's even worth it to begin with, and if I should go for a 2k or 4k one, considering I own a 9070XT.

if price is not a issue, 4K, you can just run games at 1440p, and still enjoy 4k in older/less demanding stuff or in overall non gaming use

I just spent <$150 on 6x sharp edge d12 resin type dice. (ie basically next gen gamescience)

What can you do with 6 distinctly colored d12's?

You can roll accurate iChing, obviously.

where a,b,c, are 10,11,12 on the dice:

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C
6,7,7,7,7,8,8,8,8,9,9,9

you keep your dice in a strict order, you build up lines from the bottom.

as you will learn, 6 is old (moving line) yin. 7 young yang, 8 young yin, and 9 is the second old one, old yang (moving line).

Unluck. In the best of circumstances it'll resolve itself if you power down the system. >>109790237
the point of framerate is reflecting and translating your inputs better, something fg doesn't do because it's fancy motion blur
but you don't actually play games so you wouldn't understand, you just look at 30fps gameplay with shiny puddles
>>
>>109790237
It actually doesn’t. Not even going from 60 to 120fps is enough to save you. You really need at least 75fps going into it to make the huge latency hit tolerable with FG. YMMV, though, and I did find that I can put up with a bit more latency with slower-paced games, like RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Faster paced games liked space Marines II, however, felt like dogshit to play even when going from 90 to 180fps with FG. If you’re like my friend who’s had multiple eye surgeries and literally can’t tell the difference between 30 and 60fps, then 70fps via FG is probably fine for your eyes.
>>
>>109790257
Well, yeah. Why the fuck do you think I'm spending over $800 on a GPU?

Are you retarded? What do you think the point of spending that much money on a GPU is?

I found two thinkcentres on ebay: one with Ryzen 5 Pro 3400GE and 16gb of ram and one with Ryzen 5 Pro 4650GE and no ram. Same price. SSD is a non issue. I would need to pay 50 more for a 16gb ddr4 sodimm kit. is paying the premium for the newer model with no ram worth it from an APU perspective? this is for an everyday pc with very light gaming in mind
>>
>>109790267
to play games, not to look at them?
hence why you would want native 120 without fagtracing because you know, you want to play the game and not take screenshots?
>>
>>109790289
If I didn't care about how a game looked and just wanted a lot of FPS, I'd play on medium with a 9060 XT (Though realistically a used 3080 would be better) and not spend $800 on a GPU.

That's my point. The 9070 XT is a retard card for people who are retarded and don't understand that they're getting a worse looking game, for the same performance as if they just saved their $400, or spent a bit more to get a real GPU.
>>
>>109790285
Depends on, the price difference between the 2 cpu is around 30~80 usd.
If you can get 16gb ram in that price range, the 4650ge worth it, you'll avoid cpu bottleneck.
Or if you can get a CPU for less than 50 usd, then get the 3400GE.
OR you can buy an even better cpu for 50 usd.

>>109790304
9070xt was $600 vs $900 USD for a 5070ti at launch lol. Anyone who bought the 5070ti instead is the retard. A card that trades blows with Nvidia’s top gaming cards for less than half the money is clearly the better buy. Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather have an Nvidia card, but they’re not worth the money. And while this is a matter of opinion, I think Nvidia’s rendering approach that they want to push going forward would make me never want to buy their cards again, but it will probably be so bad that I never buy any GPU again, since they’re probably going to succeed with shit like DLSS5 and it will become normal. Time for me to fade away, I guess.
>>
>>109790411
If anyone who bought a 5070Ti was a retard then, you should know why I'm saying people buying the 9070XT, a worse card, now at $800-$900 is equally a retard too.
>>
>>109790426

>>
>>109790426
When the 5070ti is well over a grand, it doesn’t seem like such a bad buy in comparison. Especially when the 9070xt is often the better card (I reject your framing). I think the 5070ti is probably slightly better overall, but not in a way that justifies spending a premium for it. If Nvidia had the clear driver or hardware advantage, that would be one thing, but this isn’t RDNA3 vs Lovelace anymore, it’s a lot more competitive.

Unless your wages have risen by the same amount, the price is not relative. (And let's face it, if it had, you'd not be nickel and diming by opting for an AMD GPU.)
You're spending $800-$900 for a card that's worse than the 5070Ti, which you called people a retard for buying.
>>
>>109790267
To run AI models and generate 100s of copies of the same video over and over to post online and brag about your nvidia card, no?
>>
>>109790483
yes, the price is relative, faggot, price performance is the most important metric
9070xt is priced the same as the 5070ti was at launch while the 5070ti is priced considerably higher than a 5080 was at launch
>>
>>109790483
No I actually paid $600 for a card that’s pretty much identical to the 5070ti, sometimes worse and sometimes so much better that it trades blows with the 5080. Easily one of the best purchases of my life. It’s even good for AI, finally. My 9070xt doesn’t even game much anymore, just does inference. I guess if you need AI slop and fake frames, you can spend the extra few hundred bucks to get Nvidia. I just don’t see the value today.
>>
>>109790271
disable expo and run it bone stock first
maybe the ram doesn't like to be overclocked on that board
>>
>>109790510
The regular RX9070 is awesome too. Great efficiency as mine easily clocks over 3.1GHz in games with a 90mv undervolt at just 225W.
I have never bough Nvidia, not because I was opposed to them, but their pricing never made sense to me. Back in 2020 when I got my RX 580 8GB, even the 1050Ti was more expensive while offering half the performance and half the VRAM. My RX9070 last year was $660 (Euro price, includes VAT) while even the regular 5070 was close to $900.
Never cared about fake frames and the RT gimmick.
>>
>>109790271

I’m jealous of your undervolt, my 9070xt crashes constantly with even a -5mV undervolt. I basically had 0 luck with the silicon lottery. I agree about pricing, though. I’ve been building systems for 20 years and Nvidia pricing has never made sense new. I’ve only ever bought new ATI and AMD cards, I only ever buy Nvidia cards used. There have been some really banger used Nvidia GPUs in the past. A used $150 2060S can still run basically every game in the market if you’re willing to butcher the resolution and use DLSS.
