I can only really speak for Chinese -- although I have been with a few other Asian nationalities, I mostly know Chinese people. Having said that, UK-born Chinese, UK-based Chinese exchange students, and Chinese girls that have never left China, are all very different demographics.

You're quite lucky to have that option as normally it's hard to get a visa there, It seems sponsorship via an employer or get a student visa then transfer that to a work visa is also common. They are unmarried mostly because they don't want get married for various reasons, and it is unlikely that they will change their mind since unmarried women have been increasingly behaving in ways that make them less marriageable (sexual promiscuity, alcohol/substance abuse, health problems from unhealthy lifestyle, getting into debts, to mention a few).
Low marriage and birth rate are not problems in and of themselves, they are a symptom of deeper problems in the Korean society, and unmarried men and women of Korea cannot do much to solve those problems at this point. That does not mean people here should put up with the symptoms of a dying nation.
Unmarried women are as much of a liability as the elderly population here, because they consume more than they generate anything of value worth exporting. If unmarried women themselves can be exported for value to reduce the burden on a failing country, that is a good thing, not a bad thing.
This country cannot support immigrants coming in, unless they offer their skills at a competitive price, and that is a tall order for a failing country to ask.
Factories cost more than ever to run because of the rising price of energy and raw materials, and they are increasingly moving overseas.
Opportunities in the service sector are severely limited, and if foreign men were to come and stay here, they will either have to bring significant sums of wealth, or offer high quality skills at a competitive price for service export.
My idea isn't to destroy Korean men's hope of marriage, it is to find a solution that brings value to everyone at an acceptable tradeoff.

I am a Korean who is a naturalized citizen of Australia, who now lives in Korea on a semi-permanent basis (it is a long story).
I used to work in a job that had me meet a good sample of people from different places, and the conclusion I came to is that women aren't that much different in their way of thinking and behaviour regardless of where they come from.
Their sense of value is based on how much they can consume (or what they can get out of), instead of what they are willing to give/contribute. A person can be valued by how much one is willing to give, with the most valuable person being someone one is willing to give everything (i.e one's life) for, but women will always value someone by what she can get out of for her own satisfaction/consumption (social status, wealth). I say this, because this is common for all East Asian women, which means they are all materialistic to the same degree at core. It is just a matter of how they express it (explicitly or implicitly), and how much they express it. This is neither good or bad. It just is, and it is something you should come to terms with especially if you plan dealing with women whether it is dating, marriage, or negotiations.
Korean women might be more compatible with Western men only because more of them speak English, which makes it easier to communicate.
Japanese women might not express their thoughts as openly, but that does not mean they are more submissive or not materialistic compared to Korean or Chinese women. That just means it is harder (or perhaps even impossible) to build trust with them. Don't forget that Japan used to be the largest luxury goods market in the world from 1989 to 2004, and that is because the Japanese men during that period used to be able to afford those for their materialistic women.
Other than that, it is just up to your personal preference, and how much you can give.

As for your matchmaking idea I don't think you'd need to force them to leave if the domestic situation is that bad. Just help connect white guys with Korean girls and most will naturally end up moving out for economic reasons.
