Most of the original and valid hate came from how he was used in TABA. A lot of that carried over to RPGX, especially since the first year of the game had a lot of focus on him in terms of scene releases. The general hate for him will always be there because people are disappointed when a new unit features him instead of something else. Lilith making girls like Yukikaze exclusive to him doesn't do them any favors in terms of his likeability. Kirara would make sense as someone created just for him, but Yukikaze was the NTR icon of the franchise. How do you take her away from previous fans like that? It baffles me.

Pretty much. People disliked Fuuma for several reasons. His inconsistent switching from harem lover to evil rapist was always an annoying point, but the biggest problem was that he was forced into scenes all the time. Sometimes he would appear in normal rape scenes as the bigger dick to finish off the girl after someone else did it. Other times he would be in the Oboro position, tucking a girl in while she was being raped, which no one cared about. Worst of all, he would disguise himself as orcs, shotas, fat men, or futas to fuck girls. Scenes that clearly showed someone other than Fuuma having sex with someone would be written with dialogue saying it was really him in disguise. That's where all the TABA hate for Fuuma came from. He was simply obnoxious in his existence. Despite the game having a fair 70-30 rape and vanilla split, mostly leaning on the rape side, Fuuma was forced into many of them. RPGX fixed Fuuma's character writing and got rid of the annoying disguise nonsense. What they gave us instead was a first year of mostly Fuuma content, and then when they brought in the rape and NTR stuff, they made it clear that some old favorites would never see rape again.

I kind of made that look I had a lot to say, but its actually a really simplistic answer. Long and short of it is I dislike Fuuma from RPGX more due to the association with RPGX itself. RPGX scenes itself feel so watered down compared to TABA, that Fuuma himself feels watered down and kind of random. Sure TABA had things like him being in disguise, but I could always pretty easily ignore that with lazy self insert writing for the sake of having traditional Taimanin male participants in their scenes. It was a handwave issue for me because I was still getting that Taimanin vibe from the scenes itself. Its harder for me to ignore the fact that this "high school harem" setting makes Fuuma feel so stupid in comparison. None of the character act like themselves anymore so when I see this fanfic tier characterization alongside Fuuma it makes me dislike Fuuma by association more as well. I'm not someone who voices that complaint often tho, its usually something I roll my eyes at and keep to myself whenever he shows up. Me saying to you I dislike his RPGX version more than TABA is probably one of the first times I've voiced that out loud on this thread. I don't have the energy to have a back and forth argument about a character I actively hate.

It's simply gacha writing. The needs of the medium are simple: you need a disposable and simple setup that can be endlessly re-used (school setting and random shenanigans). RPGX Fuuma is barely a character: it's a combine of cliches needed to support subpar writing. TABA's Fuuma was an excuse for extremely quick pseudo-VN setups, as retarded as they were.

Basically, and since they were setups for VN tier scenes, I could ignore the silliness that was attached to it because I was still getting what I want.. It really just comes down to what your preference in scenes are.
Are you ok with characters that wouldn't give a DAMN about Fuuma in any other setting acting like hes the best thing ever just to give the viewer some sort of "self insert" vibe? Then you're probably ok with RPGX Fuuma. Or are you more of a fan of the characters being more like their VN selves in the face of a rapist? Then you're probably more ok with TABA Fuuma.

..That's how I feel anyway, these are all just opinions.. I like my Taimanin willfully defiant (unless forced into compliance) and often tied down to prevent escape, than them willfully jumping on my "self insert" dick just to make me/Fuuma "feel" soooooo special. Ya know.. A Taimanin scene.

There's probably better/higher res versions of this art online but you can find the portrait arts in the scene viewer files, it's pretty easy to find them, in each scene folder there's a specific folder for images

No. If the pref to use translations is on and there are translations available it either prompts you if there are multiple translations or auto selects the only translation available.
If you've ran the patcher between your first time doing it then you probably didn't have the translated script for the patcher to add it as a translation.

To check how many translations are available in the viewer
Press F12
go to the console tab
paste in
sceneData[id].SCRIPTS.PART1.TRANSLATIONS.length
change id to what appears in the top left of the scene thumbnail (e.g. 0084_1) and put it between quotes, so
sceneData["0084_1"].SCRIPTS.PART1.TRANSLATIONS.length
That'll tell you how many translations are available.

Asagi is head of her clan, Gosha and all Taimanin, pretty well off on her own.
Murasaki and Ingrid would literally spit in his face.
Rinko and Yukikaze are hopelessly in love with their childhood crush.
Sakura might be his best bet, and even she as an adult is a lot more disincline and stern.
Oboro and Kaliya might fuck him, but only in a dominating position and certainly not for his enjoyment.
Can't speak on Kurenai and Felicia because I haven't played that game yet. But from what I know of TK Felicia would probably fool around with him before killing him.
In the main games the characters aren't wooed so easily like they are in TABA and RPGX. They already like who they like. They don't trip over themselves for anyone and anything, that's what the 1000x sensitivity and other multiple tactics are needed for. Fuuma would be a drop in the bucket for practically all of them. RPGX is a fantasy in which everyone already loves Fuuma like the 2nd coming. Even in TABA Fuuma had to use underhanded means to get them to "like" him. They're simply just not that easy in the VN, its staggering how night and day it is honestly..

Sakura doesn't hold hold anything against him either. That's to say, if someone's able to endear themselves to the Taimanin or has something to offer Gosha, they wouldn't presume them, necessarily, but they'd have an in.

The young earnest "please notice me senpai" archetype is already taken for Asagi. And Asagi is loyal to a fault. It would take more than bedroom arts to break Asagi. Think of all the things she was subjected to and still had her sanity. VN Asagi needs a genuine attraction to you for her to act. That's why Fuuma is a drop in the bucket, all the girls that trips over themselves in RPGX have genuine reasons not to care for him in that way in the VNs. Building a good rapport would put Fuuma in the same category as any other accomplished male Taimanin to Asagi and the like. Think Murasaki's brother for example. Again, Sakura is probably his best bet, but I really wouldn't underestimate her adult self in TA3, she's surprisingly disciplined by that point, while of course still being cherry. Murasaki and Kiryu isn't really a thing, she still doesn't like him. She just finds him more "bearable" after joining Gosha.

I don't doubt none of them would care about Fuuma, but I have to add that Yukikaze and him have an established antagonistic/ rival relationship at the start of both rpgx and action so it would make more sense for them to just strait up hate each other.

Kurenai is weird since they are from the same clan. So even if it isn't lovey dovey so long as he didn't side with his father, thus being enemies during the fuuma revolt, her and fuuma's relationship would be friendly. Not saying it would be childhood friends like in action but friendly.

Another thing that one has to question with fuuma and the VN version of the characters is if he would get his powers or not since TABA fuuma is the way he is because his powers manifest. Meanwhile action and rpgx have him powerless. Realistically fuuma in a VN setting would have his powers so he would be closer to TABA fuuma in character.

I'm not sure how the self-insert crowd would feel, but I always felt that a VN version of Fuuma would definitely fill the role of an Anti-Hero/Shaky ally for the protagonists, where he might be necessary to whatever they are doing but he is using the situation to suit his own goals

I want a Taimanin battle royale like My Hero Ultra Rumble. Y'know, just without the awful gacha system.
