I am noticing that images generated by the NovelAI service seem generally of higher quality than those generated with Pony Diffusion v6. Could it be because Pony prompters aren't using enough loras? If you use Controlnet, regional prompter, and loras you should be able to achieve much much higher quality than anything SaaS can offer. That's the benefit of local.

Anyone figured out how to retain finer details for LoRas in Flux Dev more efficiently? I kind of have to brute force it by photoshopping out intricate accessories and include them in the dataset, but scaled up.
Is there any way to conveniently get the AI to gen a specific set of bangs if they don't have a tag? Would inpainting even work or is it easier to just find a character LoRA that isn't too hard baked and then reverse engineer the other character traits

LMAO, I think I figured out why Flux didn't learn styles all that well. It's because of the lognorm(0,1) timestep schedule BFL utilized. Later timesteps which are responsible for small details are just undertrained while the mid timesteps, mostly making up the low-freq details, are trained well. That's all there is to it.
