comparison between eps and vpred for a simple 1girl standing, simple/black background. eps pred has, as expected, less dynamic range. vpred somehow frequently mistakes "black background" for white background, and often renders really oddly colored sketch-like images even with sketch in negatives. i would say that v-pred is more promising, but there seem to be some weird quirks to it. not sure if it's just underbaked or if there's something off with the implementation. i hope euge can deliver a part 2 for it, as the latest eps model is almost triple the epochs of the previous yet to me doesn't feel like that significant of an improvement. i think in general there is a poor dataset/settings issue with noob compared to illustrious, as the 14 epochs of noob-eps don't feel like too much of a significant step up from illustrious base.
