From what I can tell, the Text Encoder wasn't fully frozen after 0.75, unfortunately - Whether they let it train partly after getting the feedback from 0.75 or let it go all the way through is unknown, but the Unet never had time to catch up like it should've regardless.If anything, this is made some of the issues more apparent, depending on the style you're using.I'll go back to waiting for the vpred release, but if you plan to use EPS 1.0, downweighting artists and strong tags to ~0.5 or lower seems to help significantly if they're trying to overpower the prompt.

For every booru image no matter how good or how bad there is a definitively worse furry image being trained alongside it. I can browse gelbooru and sometimes think "yeah this image would make for shit training" but it's actually a challenge to find anything remotely salvageable from e621. I really don't fucking understand how to train this shit...I just grabbed a toml from mega anon, loaded it as-is, loaded the base model (illu) and the dataset (50 pics with generic booru tags).The training loss looks like this. And this is what it looks like for all my previous attempts. Loss goes down during warm-up, hits the lowest loss value, sits there for a while, and then goes up during training.Picking any checkpoint from the minimum loss/last steps produces the same garbage - blurry, melting, and with fucked up colors that barely look like an artist's style.And this shit happens about 99% of the time, regardless of Lora size, LR, dataset size, captioning and training times.
