It's not made entirely clear within the scene what happened to Beardsley, but it seems he's thrown in with the Sex Empire physiologically instead of just a bargained alignment - had some partial monster metamorphosis. Perhaps he consented to some kind of spell that made him a monster-hybrid? I’m not really sure why he’d do that though, so there must be something elsewhere that provides that answer.

The best writing is backed up by lots of reading, and when basing it off of someone else's creative universe, that can create much more organic understanding and awareness of the world you're working with. I'd also recommend having a notes or Google Doc open on the side to jot down any information you think is interesting and you feel you could use later.If your schedule doesn't allow for it, I'd recommend looking for a full save file and doing what I recommended in a simplified way with the scenes saved in the gallery.
