i read "anti ntr" and was thinking of a scenario where the protagonist runs into and already mind broken slut with an ugly bastard and makes it a personal goal to "unbreak" her, eg. show her romance and intimacy and that theres more to a sexual relationship than just aggressive mindless sex

Yep, like 8324819 mentioned, it’s for “bad routes.”

Like anti-villain, it isn’t a negation of the trope, but a subversion. If it was completely free of NTR undertones, then it'd just be labeled vanilla haha.

The thrill is in seeing her fight off her attackers and remaining together with MC. (Or vice versa I guess, if one swings that way.)
