Lighting and engine are still the same as launch, but there are new modded shaders, specifically xukmi's vanilla+ shaders, along with modlights and colored rim lighting to drastically change the appearance of a shot. And colored shadows in the right spots can also make a difference too. For the truly cracked, they go a step further and make subtle adjustments to normal map textures and shit for some extra oomph.

I was thinking about suggesting someone make a mod using AI to generate new lines of dialogue for girl personalities so they'd say things that matches certain fetish types (Incest: Relative of the player, NTR: has a boyfriend/husband, Age Difference: Player is a older man or she is an older woman, etc.) that you could flag in the chara maker, but then you'd probably need someone who actually understands Japanese and have some subtitles to go with it.
