Previous thread: >>8354648Continuing dump from episode 15Feel free to discuss the anime as well, though it abandons the plot in favor of episodic adventures and tells them in random order.

>>8400252Yeah, the last two volumes have less Pierce and Bobo, kinda major departure.Kinda bold move because the mangaka says in notes Pierce and Bobo were fan favorites, so sidelining them and introducing new characters seems like a bold move. But props for sticking to his or her vision

>>8399588I've been collecting Itoyoko's doujinshi (physically), and it's no surprise to find out he was a huge fan of Mita Ryuusuke, and his Dragon Half serial. Have some Mita Ryuusuke Fanclub doujins where Itoyoko contributed some fan-art of Mink from Dragon Half, which explains why the Dragon Pink anime had a Mink-esque dragongirl cameo.Have any of you guys seen the Dragon Pink doujinshi ITOYOKO released in 1998 that expended its story? I know his Maid Cat Story doujinshi got compiled into a tankoubon, but I don't think he included the stories in the 1998 Dragon Pink doujin in any new compilations for the Dragon Pink chapters he serialised.
The bottom-right one is the Dragon Pink doujin released in 1998. I have it somewhere in my closet with the hundreds of other doujins I've been collecting ever since the yen became weak.
>>8400993>Have any of you guys seen the Dragon Pink doujinshi ITOYOKO released in 1998 that expended its story? No. How can you make doujinshi of your own work?
>>8401003>No. How can you make doujinshi of your own work? Are you confusing doujin with parody or fan art? Doujin just means you publish it yourself (indie). The word also implied you used to do this with other people (pile in all your manuscripts into a single book, so you can take it to a printer, but nowadays, most everyone does it alone so they don't get into arguments and can keep all of the profits for themselves).Other artists who do doujinshi of their commercial works include Manabe Jouji (he got into a dispute with his publisher for releasing one of his works without censorship, leading to them having to recall all of the books sent to stores), and he decided to release the rest of the chapters himself (forget if he did any additional chapters aside from the ones serialised in magazines).
>>8401018Interesting I presume it was synonymous, considering so much of it seems fanfiction.Either I can't seem to find that doujinshin, is it lost media?>Other artists who do doujinshi of their commercial works include Manabe JoujiYou seem well versed on this, good to know that /h/ still have people like you. Many people here seem to zoomers who have interest in vintage.
