Amusingly enough, I remember that Bastien Vivès (of Lastman and Melons of Wrath fame) pretty much patterned one of his characters on her. It's Western so I can't post art (if we do consider the French Western and not Africans) but it's a direct influence, she got even thanked in the postscript.
