Mongols slaughter billions and are regarded as heroes and legends of history. ISIS kills a few hundred and they are the most savage barbarians ever placed on earth who are controlled by America, MI5, Israel, Saudi, and the Illuminati simultaneously. Is that fair?
>>
Mongols fought for globalism and laissez faire so yes.

they fought for their own aggrandizement just like ISIS. ISIS was also filled with ugly people so it's hard to view them with sympathy

By who?

It's because Mongols were working together with the Venetians, the money lenders and the crusaders:
>The so-called Christian Crusades (the first in 1099, the seventh and last major one in 1291) had had only one strategic effect: expanding and strengthening the maritime commercial empire of Venice to the East. Venice provided the ships to take the Crusaders to the Middle East; Venice loaned them money, and Venetian Doges often told them what cities to try to capture or sack. Through the Crusades, Venice gained effective control of the cities of Tyre, Sidon, and Acre in Lebanon, and Lajazzo in Turkey, and strengthened its domination of commerce through Constantinople. These were the coastal entry-points for the “Silk Routes” through the Black Sea and Caspian Sea regions to China and India. During the Mongol Empires (1230-1370), these routes were virtual “Roman Roads” maintained by Mongol cavalry.
>The empire of the Mongol Khans was for a century the largest and most murderous empire in human history [See Box II]. The Mongols eliminated, by slaughter and disease directly in their domains, perhaps 15 percent of the world’s population, and destroyed all the greatest cities from China west to Iraq and north to Russia and Hungary—including all the trading cities whose competition bothered Venice. The strategic alliance between Venice and the Mongol Khans, up to and through the financial collapse of the 1340’s, has been treated as a historical curiosity of the adventures of Marco Polo’s family. But it gave Venice final control of the trade to the East, and along with the trade through Egypt for the gold mined in Sudan and Mali, it gave them huge amounts of gold with which to dominate world currency trading in the decades leading to the financial disintegration of the Fourteenth century.

The mongols are regarded as bloodthirsty and exceedingly cruel. Mountains of skulls and rivers of blood and such. I mean Genghis Khan put a more than noticeable dent in the human population.

Not sure what conveniently placed rock you’ve been living under.

So did ISIS actually.
>>
Pic unrelated, they didn’t keep Han Chinese style bun
>>
>>16533203
Mongols are considered rabid animals and subhuman degenerates, all with the exception of the Turks, Hungarians, Finns and some other Asian larpers.
>>
>>16534623
Regarding their coolness, they controlled the largest piece of Eurasia than anyone else, Westoids suffering from bigmania consider this especially outstanding.
>>
>>16533203
>regarded as heroes
Other than Mongols I doubt it
>and legends of history
Well yes. It takes a lot of work to create the largest land Empire.

Everyone in the region learnt to adapt to the newest nomads in town. Hungarians helped Cumans, Byz helped Pechenegs, Poland helped Tartars etc. but we still see them as smelly violent nomads.
>>16533203
ISIS are just lame flavour of the month terror outlet, propped up by US spending to fuck with their rivals. Better comparison would be with Taliban, but Taliban were cringe for blowing up those cool Buddha statues (Genghis left the statues untouched)
