Why don’t the humanities ever address the gap between male and female suicide rates? It seems like sociologists will bend over backwards to explain every other gender discrepancy but this one is almost completely ignored

Women are rewarded with sympathetic attention for communicating their weakness and vulnerability. Men are either ignored or ridiculed, and made to feel like a burden on society by admitting weakness. Women have no shortage of outreach programs to help them, men have little or nothing. You ever wonder why a majority of suicide bombers are men? It's so much easier to find men who feel like they have no reason to live.
