There was extreme economic pressure and competition during the Great Industrial Revolution in Europe and North America in the decades after 1870. Economic consumptions and population sizes ballooned. The need for resources skyrocketed. The economies themselves began to change to a more modern model of consumption and production. Complex systems of finance arose to drive capital into building the furnishing factories which created all these goods.

All of that required expansion into all world markets. It required taking as many resources as possible. And it meant that any mistep or loss of territory or opportunity of expansion would lead to economic recessions that would have, at the time, DEVASTATING results. Or at least so economists of the time thought. The recessions in the 1890s were very bad. Economists and thinkers predicted an eventuality of sometbing like the Great Depression decades before it actually took place; governments races to prevent this by taking every loss and every gain with the utmost seriousness.

Because some countries expanded far faster than others, and outgrew the old world-economic titans, this led to extreme antagonism towards specific countries. This was principally Russia, Germany, and the United States. That’s how the battle lines for the upcoming World War was drawn. Around the lines of economic growth and competition. The old titans resented the growing countries which were becoming bigger and stronger each year. The old empire of Britain would possibly become replaced by a new world-sprawling German naval empire, which would compete with the US and Russia.

And that is why in 1890, Britain hatched a plan to destroy Germany.

And how does that relate to the Austro-Hungarian guy who got killed? Also, how was this fueled by the Jewish Masonic scheme to get rid of monarchy?

You would have to understand the outcome of the previous war In the balkans and the politics between those counties and the west and the Ottoman empire.

Explain, please.

I can't remember the complexities, sorry.
Basically you know how the most generic explanation for WW1 is a string of alliances being set off? Each country in the Balkans either had backing from the west or the ottomans. The whole area was a clusterfuck after two civil wars. The first was for independence from the ottomans, the second was more fighting over territory. Austria-Hungary fought a war with the ottomans and the serbs helped take Bosnia but for some stupid reason a treat was made that gave it back to turkey under the condition it was protected by austria-hungary. Eventually the austro-hungarians annex Bosnia. Bosnia was a small independent kingdom before the ottomans and became a part of Serbia after I think being attacked by the Albania's which I believe was a new country...

Blame the Napoleonic wars.

Because it was inevitable that the Napoleonic post war order be consumed by the temptation of mechanized warfare. This was the last era in history when the idea of neighbors gobbling up your land was simply a fact of life and accepted as such.

So naturally, everyone jumped at the chance to stockpile machine guns and chemical weapons in order to ensure their monopoly on violence.
