What intrinsically made people in Christendom abandon Science?
>>

When did they abandon science?
>>
>>16806911
The church’s emphasis on faith over reason and evidence. As time went on, religion dominated all fields, and skepticism was considered heresy.

Science is pozzed
>>
>>16806911
considering that science led to the creation of nukes, ai, microplastics, pollution, etc., religion did us a favor

but the church didnt have a emphasis on faith over reason and evidence, at least not untill the reformtion churches cme along, it emphasised dogma and such but reason and logic were considered sacred
>>
critical thinking is dangerous to cults

The Big Bang theory was proposed by a Catholic priest. The idea of there being a conflict between religion and science mostly exists in historically Protestant societies such as USA, as Protestantism's focus on personal interpretations of the Bible is prone to promoting anti-intellectualism.

the idea that the "dark ages" were a time of scientific stagnation is a kike lie. The church itself was a bastion of natural philosophy. it is only called that because it was a rough time for jews with the pogroms and it being common knowledge thar jews were the other

At this point I trust Jews over Christians, at least they are more honest about their intentions.

What discoveries did the church make before the renaissance? Why were they still cannibalizing Aristotle and Galen 1000+ years after both croaked?

nigger, you do know that bird masks being associated with disease is a very old pagan practice attested in roman times that was preserved and incorporated into christian era right? its not even the dumbest thing people did back then since it probably did keep *some* of the microbacteria and disease away from their respiratory system.
