Circles and goblins and sheeit. Also fat braphogs with big tiddies. But in all honesty they probably just like the way those spirals and whorls looked. Also the geometrical relationship between different shapes was probably considered aesthetically pleasing, even if they didn't understand the mathematical concepts inherent the aforementioned sacred geometry.

They obviously figured out something fundamental with the patterns of stars through autism. Autism explains it better because anyone could observe the skies and still avoid similar conclusions as all other cultures failed to see. Thus EEF could develop systems around it hence the spiral patterns on everything and the cosmological timing of Megalithic structures like Stonehenge and others.

Indo-Europeans were schizos. It is this dangerous combination of autism, schizophrenia and creativity that led to European genius. Along with inbreeding and some unique cultural stuff too.

They had a profound knowledge of the stars and geometry thanks to the Atlanteans. This is evident in the megaliths and gobleki tepe.
