When and where did people first start to identify as "White"? As in, to use the word white/weiss/blanc/blanco etc in a racial sense? I thought it must've been in Spain or Portugal during the Age of Discovery, but all paintings describing racial categories just say "espaƱol" and not "blanco".

>>17271831>In medieval Southern Europe slaves came to be categorised based on colour with Christians using typical labels for Muslim slaves such as sarraceno blanco (white Saracen), sarracenno nigrium (black Saracen), and sarraceno lauram (Saracen of intermediate colour).[140] In 13th century Barcelona the majority of Muslim slaves listed were classified as blanche (white).[140] In 13th century Genoa slaves classified as albi (white) made up nearly half of the total recorded slave population.[140] Records show Provencal France would also distinguish between noir (black) and blanc (white) slaves.[140] That said, "white" as a self-identification seems to come much later. Though it can't have been any later than 1790 as the US census starts counting "free white males/females"
>>17271831It definitely didn't come from spaniarabs, medgritos constantly try to appropriate the invention of whiteness which is a purely Anglosaxon concept in which medgrito moors don't fit in
whiteness didnt even exist before the atheist revolution. whiteness is literally an unorganic social construct by garbage atheists like the americans because they have no culture. Europeans dont discriminate with whiteness but with nationality.
>>17274508>a purely Anglosaxon concept in which medgrito moors don't fit inExplain why the USA regularly accepted Portuguese immigrants when only "free white persons of good character" were allowed in.
>>17271831>When and where did people first start to identify as "White"?White, as a identity, literally only exists to do evil. It is a justification for evil, and that is more or less the role it served from it's inception. Before that, most excuses were rooted in religion rather than a made up identity based on skin color. So, basically, around 1650 and the end of the thirty year war.
>>17274539>why did the Anglos make an exception for their longest lasting alliance partnerRetard
>>17274720>he thinks a geopolitical alliance influenced the common man's ground level attitude>he thinks the United States was honoring a British alliance Whiteness in the US was literally just defined as "looks 'aight to me bro", hence why Lebanese and Syrians were also always treated as Whites in America and assimilated within a generation (pic related is a descendant of Syrians). If you were pale enough, nobody cared, if you were too tanned and swarthy, people looked, that's literally the whole root and cause of any discrimination against Mediterranean people in the US. Sometimes they just come out looking really brown, sometimes they come out looking like Germans, it's a mixed bag and treatment was accordingly inconsistent.

>>17271831>History of White identityWhite people have been calling themselves white for as long as white people have physically existed. They also had words like Aryan, Athenian, Heracladia, and European to specify what God bloodline their phenotype sprang from. But all Gods are white, and so too are those people of their blood. Your mental illness, claiming white people didn't exist, is a disease crafted to destroy what is good upon the earth.
