What do you think would be different?
Obviously the Normans had a tremendously influence on the local language, culture, and history - but if the Normans hadn't invaded how would history of turned out differently?

Would Britain have unified like it did in real life? Would the British Empire have happened? What would English involvement in continental politics have looked like? Would England have seen stability?
